Software that can hide icons on the menu

HI all..,

Is there any software that can hide icons on the menu of the phone.. I hav 6600 phone.. Using Smart gurad can hide icons and folders on the gallary but not on the main menu..

If ther is any pls let me no.!

im not sure if i understand u correctly.:)

u mean, u wanted to hide application icon from ur menu?

to do so, u need to have any file exploring tool (like selectQ, FExplorer...)
try to find the application you want to hide. (ex: kamasutra.app)

aplications installed on memory card usaually go to E:\System\Apps...

try to change the name of the application u want to hide
(ex: kamasutra.app change to Akamasutra.app

as u go to ur main menu, u will notice that the application 'kamasutra' is gone
(but its just hidden)

if u want to reveal it again, restore the original name of the application using ur file explorer again

Well all friends. First of all happy raksha bandhan.

The both trick mentioned above are good but am using it in diffrent way.
By renaming any applications app file cannot allow application to run in background.
what if i want to run sms counter in background without showing its icon in menu.
i faced this problem some time ago. so i used some other method.
Use some file explorer (am using fileman) and go to that application's folder....
for example E:/system/apps/smscounter
now select that folder and then go to option-properties-set attr- then make hide on.
This will hide your all files in that folder so application is not visible in menu but u can run it by opening E:/system/apps/smscounter/smscounter.app file.
I used this trick in my girl friends mobile to know where the sms were sent except me.
By this trick, software will work perfectly in background and do its job hiddenly. Whenever you want to check your sms counter just go to fileman and open that .app file ..... thats it.
