Indeed ! It have problem with translation but it’s useful for Symbian OS v9.3 (such as: NOKIA N78, 6220) because now they can run garmin on the phones (s9.3 was not supported with 4.20.00).

Garmin should release proper version on EU site soon.

Did you guys copy the SW.UNL file created with GarminUnlocker to the Garmin folder ? If not, then read the post titled "Garmin Unlocker 1.3 with a map list" by johno (I can't post the link because my post count is less than 5).

Without the SW.UNL your internal GPS will not be detected.

tyrone, have you installed the Basemap and support files from Garmin ? You'll need these first to use any maps and also voices for navigation.

Just go to the Garmin site and select 'updates and downloads for Mobile XT.

I downloaded:

* Garmin Mobile XT Support Files
and istalled sucessfully on my N95 8GB. I downloaded the Map to my laptop too but i don't know where i must put it on my phone. Can anyone explain me how to put the map?

but anyway when i open garmin->view map and navigate to Moldova I can't see the roads from Chisinau, i see just name of city and some main roads from Moldova.

hy guys i have a small problem , i instaled garmin v4.20 .. all fine , than i upgrade to v5 all ok , than i find garmin nt2008 and i copy the maps from there in garmin folder, all work , the problem is that is an error of translation ,for example i have belgium writed 4 times in diffrent ways, and some other countrys but i dont know what country are because i can not understand the translation , CAN ANYONE HELP WITH THIS ????????????

and second thing : if i want to copy another map for exampel Romania what name do i give to the map if the other map i have is named GMAPSUPP.IMG and the key file GMAPSUPP.UNL , i overwrite it or what ? thanks in advance

Every1 Please Help me!!!
I already upgrade the software from 4.20 to 5.00 a few times...
everything is working perfectly...
but the backlight are annoying me... That's why i reinstall and reinstall...
i have changed the backlight override to always on...
but it still turn off the backlight around 1 mins later when navigating...
the backlight turned off after 2-3 sec, the backlight turned on again...
but the route will freeze for around 5 sec... Then the route will become normal but no longer...
after a couple sec, the backlight turn off again...
i'll miss all the turn because of the route freeze freeze freeze... That is really annoying me.. Can any1 tell me why??? Or any1 here has the same problem?? There was no such problem when i was using v4.10 and v4.20...
hopefully i will get a solution as soon as possible... Thankx and apreciate!!!

garmin map unlocker? JetMouse's keygen?
Type in your unit id and the map id, then generate only the map unlock code
copy to notepad and save as gmapsupp or the other as the name of the map you want to unlock.
remember to save as .unl and choose all file.
It should be something like gmapsupp.unl and not gmapsupp.unl.txt

I've been spending hours reading this thread and searching other threads on this forum before finding this one and am not sure what I'm doing wrong here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure if it's normal but. when i run garmin xt on my n95 . the gps is slow. normally you can see the car or the pointer moving while you're driving but mine is delayed.

actually u could install using the 1st way, just change the mode of connection phone to pc. i believe u fail in 1st step coz u are in usb mode. if u r in pc suite mode, u will success... maybe!!! coz sis file can't be sent in usb mode, memory card r in use...mamamia...
