INSTRUCTIONS (based on UK installation)

1. Copy the following folders to your memory card:

- copilot
- private
- resource
- sys

2. Goto http://www.alk.eu.com/support/choose your country and download the speed camera file if one exists for your country. Put said safetycam.ezp file into \copilot\EU\Save\ on your memory card.

3. UK maps posted further up include POI. No need to download anything else.

4. Put speech folders into \copilot\Speech\. For example for the UK voices the folder is \en-gb\. Put this into \copilot\Speech\ so it looks like \copilot\Speech\en-gb\ on your memory card.

5. Put memory card back in. Startup phone. Install starts. If it doesn't goto App. Manager and start it from the list.

6. Start CoPilot. You're prompted to enter a product code. Enter the following:

**CFN-M2NJH-FS2F5-HDF32-NA2F2

Change the two asterisk to any random letters or numbers. Proceed. Say no to internet connection. Proceed to activation. You're given a license number by the application.

7. Goto https://activate.alk.com/ALKLicense/web/ALKActivation.aspx and enter the product code you created (see above step) and the license number generated for you and your e-mail. Click submit and another code is generated. Enter this activation code into CoPilot7.

Done.

On the Web Activation page Ive entered my Licence Number (which is 9 digits) but the site only accepts 8 digits.

I deleted the last number and it game my my Activation Number but when I enter that in to the phone it says Invalid Code.

The Australian map floating around on the net is missing POI's (Points Of Interest). The usability of the Australia map is therefore very limited.

just wanted to advise other guys that, if u have probs with the key u made! just try experimenting by changing the first 2 letters of the 1st part of the key nd the first letter of the 2nd part of the key!!

its surely gonna work then!! also the license no when generated does not change irrespective of the product key! :)

Been there, done that - same result. Seems to me the torrent and the RS-File are alike and therefore both broken. I even tried to keep the broken files and mount the image -> broken :( Does anybody have the hands on a different image?

Hi for those of you stuck with downloading the copilot dvd i can give you a link to a program that works. Ignore the ads ( i cant post it) but its at extratorrents good luck


Says it has 40 seeders so if you hurry up you might finish downloading it

The only problem i had in vista was converting the txt files back i couldnt do it.
However the files for the smart card work just have to manage to work out a serial code :lol:

mgreen21 you need to open it from your application manager or installations on some nokia models.

Pleased to say activation worked had to try and change stuff around but once you get the 8 digit code go to activation site and play around till it gives you an activation code do it on the pc not on the phone.


If you have problems with the download of the program i will post the rar bits you missing if you cant get it from that torrent site.:cool::lol:

you need to open the folder

firstly click organise (topleft of your open folder), click layout and make sure
menu bar is ticked (if not selct it to place a tick)

open the tools tab on the new menu bar and choose

folder options
in folder options choose the view tab

about the 9th button down it says hide extentions for known file types this needs to be un-shaded ie blank when you rename a file the extension will now be selectable

I successfully completed installation of copilot on my N73. But I'm facing problems with language and voice. Once I started the application, it was asking for the language and voice dropdown menu, but nothing I can select. Also I put AS folder to \copilot\EU\as for middle east maps. It is also not working.

Nokia n95 8g copilot will not install i have copied all the files to larger memory on the phone using data transfer, when i pull the usb lead out it trys to install but then fails, it tells me to use application manager but its not seen in there either.
Can open the copilot7.sis in file manager it then tries to install showing the certifcate starts to install then fails.

anyways.. the problem is that u gota copy those 4 folders to Z:/ drive.. not in Z:/copilot.. and when u copy to Z:/ drive, usin your computer (Z here is Removable drive), it will tell you that folders already exist and all.. be sure to backup the folders from your memory to computer first, just incase if something did manage to go wrng, just to be safe!
and then drag the 4 folders on there, and it should do the trick :)

Thanks RomanticNeo i got it to work by exploring the z drive with Xplore an
application on my phone. Not sure how your getting to see the Z drive on your pc even with it in data transfer mode?
But you guided me in a way i never thought as the z drive always showed nothing in it until it was Xplored a bit deeper then i see the setup file again.

But then when i did add a code i got 3 days left and could not find any place that the maps would work in for the Uk,

Can someone please tell me the correct folder to install the maps and do i open the contents ok the Uk map into any place or just add the Uk folder?
Not trying to confuse you with the above statement but i would like to get it on the go asap and would like the full information.

Can Someone pls help...

I have tried everything to activate copilot...but I keep getting an invalid code error.

THe steps i took are:

1. Install program and run ti
2. enter code as shown in prev posts....at this point, I get a 9 digit license number
3. web activation...no combiation I've used provides any results (I get an error saying the license number should be 8 digits). i only get results if I remove the last digit of the license number and try changing the product code..

BUT....even when I get this activation code and try to use it, i get an "invalid activation code" error....

can anybody PLEASE help....!!!!!!!!!!!

how did you install this?

in mass memory (16gb) i created a folder called copilot 7..then i moved the folders from the RAR (copilot, sys, resource, and private) into the new folder i created in my phones mss memory

now what?..nothing shows up in the application manager..nor does the installation autostart..

INSTRUCTIONS (based on UK installation)

1. Copy the following folders to your memory card:

- copilot
- private
- resource
- sys

5. Put memory card back in. Startup phone. Install starts. If it doesn't goto App. Manager and start it from the list.


Done.

ive figured out how to merge the resources and private folders with the ones already in existance in the E: drive...

now my only problem is i have no idea how to install the actual app...app manager doesnt show it, nor does it autostart when i restart my phone...and when i run "copilot7.sis" i get a file corrupted error..

how do i activate? i have 4 days left after putting in a serial...on the activation page it asks for another license #

Thanks for a great tutorial. It is awsome to have CoPilot on my phone now. the Australian voice sounds so bad ( we dont speak like that at all).

for troubles with activation make shore to change the first two letter AND ALSO on the first letter on the second set e.d. (change the x)

to say thanks here is how to get and install a working copy of CoPilot 10 for Laptop/PDA



1) download torrent from w w w.demonoid. c o m/files/?query=copilot+laptop (remove spaces from w w w for link and . c o m)

2) Install Copilot using included code

3) follow Manual activation wizard, dont bother trying to get activation code now, it wont work. just record your LISCENSE number

4) Uninstall Copilot (just for now, trust me)

5) attain your activation code. goto
h t t p://activate.alk. c o m/alklicense/web/ALKActivation.aspx?pk=2x4EM-92HW5-8Q2F5-UB332-4A2F2&licnum=


(remove spaces from h t t p for link and . c o m), and change the x (second digit) to any LETTER (go through alphabet until get your code)

6) re-install copilot and enter WORKING (NOT FROM TORRENT) product number

7) Follow the AUTOMATIC (dont check manual) wizard, it will work.

Any one else unable to get an activation code.

I go to the site, type in the product codes (with 2 different letters at the start), but I get the error:

"Product key and serial number are not in the databse."

Any help?

also having problems with the 9 digit code being provided and its actually supposed to be 8, i dont know if thats a problem with my product key being in need of alteration because i get to the next stage with it and it works fine, any one that has been able to activate it could you provide some guidance ? thanks

hey bossalex i tried your keygen thing, and all i seem to get is "invalid activation code. tap back to try again"

got any solutions ? or shall i just keep experimenting with the first 2 letters and 1st letter of second row?

A - Activation instructions:

Activation is error and try.

First it's important to know that the fourth part of the serial is as known for now like:

CTG32, HZF32 "Trucker Version".
ABC32 Professional Version, EU City and some more.
HDF32 Professional Version

Update:
The following variation of this serial enables Truck Routing, Traffic (TMC), Traffic (GPRS)
T6CFN-N2NJH-FS2F5-HZF32-NA2F2

Example: KCCFN-L2NJH-FS2F5-HDF32-NA2F2 would be Professional Version, right?
KCCFN-L2NJH-FS2F5-CTG32-NA2F2 would be Trucker Version!

So far we know how to choose between Trucker, Professional and Professional EU city

replaced the map in the eu folder
replaced the speech folder
copied all these files to my memory card in my phone

where do i go from here. im finding this very difficult to figure out and any help would be greatly appreciated! :)
