Copying Msgs from phone to memory Card

hey members

i found an interesing trick to copy ur msgs from phone memory to memory card and from memory card to phone memory.
You can do it when u change ur msgs memory it asks for to copy all msgs in phone memory/memory card.
Many people were saying that its asks for only 1st time now by this trick it will ask as many time as u change ur memory ;)

Go to C:\private\1000484b\mail2

there will be a file name "index"

this file contains all ur sms msgs in phone memory.
if u do not have any important msgs in phone memory then delete this file (u can only delete this file if u r currenty using memory cards as msg memory and for hacked fones)

Now after deleting this Change ur msg memory from memory card to phone memory and it will ask to copy all msgs in phone memory Then press Yes.




and if u r using phone memory as msg memory and want to copy all ur msgs in memory card the go to

E:\private\1000484b\mail2

and Delete Index file if u do not have important msgs in memory card.
now change ur memory from phone memory to memory card. It will ask to copy all ur msgs. Press yes.


now when ever u want to change ur msgs memory and copy all msgs in new memory Delete this index file from memory card or phone memory.

Again warning u this index file contains all ur msgs so better copy it in Other folder 1st.

Use Animated SmS for this.
you can search this soft in sms/mms tools section.

but what if i want to put back the old messages along with the new ones i copied from the phone memory to memory card ?? :S ... i replaced it .. but then i lose the ones that i trasferred ...

i already told u that

Once u deleted this index file from phone\card all msgs in phone\card will lost.

and one more thing

u cannot do this like start saving index files and replace msg of any index file bcoz not only index file there are other files necessary for showing msgs in inbox.
