Project description: MGTalk is Jabber client for j2me midp 1.0 platform (midlet), supports some Google Talk features. May run on any j2me midp 1.0 mobile phone or communicator, tested with Nokia series60 phones and Siemens/Benq mobile phones.

Configuration instructions: Download and install to your mobile phone the latest version of MGTalk Start application, select Add new... item and click your joystick or choose Edit command Type Name of new profileConfiguration for Google Talk account: User name: your GMail account with @gmail.comPassword: your GMail account passwordHost name: talk.google.com (leave unchanged)SSL?: uncheck Yes (leave unchanged)Port: 5222 (leave unchanged)Auto connect: click Yes if you want to automatically connect with this profile after program startsEnable auto reconnect?: click Yes (leave unchanged) if you want to enable auto reconnect functionGTalk features: click Yes (leave unchanged) if you want to receive new mail notification and use advanced status management functionsInitial status and GTalk - disable status change by other clients if you click Yes in second option, MGTalk will always set this initial status after changing your online status by other clientsStatus text and GTalk - set status text after login? if you click Yes in second option, MGTalk will set typed status text after login, otherwise - last/current status text will be usedSort by list: specify roster sort method hereShow offline users?: if you uncheck Yes - offline user will not be shown in your rosterChat history length: specify number of stored messages in history of each contactConfiguration for Jabber account: User name: your JID with @<domain>Password: your passwordHost name: type host name of your jabber serverSSL?: check Yes if you want to use secure connection with server and server supports itPort: type port number of your server here.
