My screensavers

here with i am posting few screen savers (mainly smilies) which I created.
You need to install the sis files directly to your memory card (since i like to install it there, i created sis files like that:rolleyes: ) it will be installed as "Gif Screensaver". at a time you can have only one screensaver installed. the sis file will copy three files to e:\system\screensavers folder. an dthe same files will be overwritten on installing other screensaver.
after installation go to themes, select edit, got to screensaver option, select the screensaver you just installed.

Please see the gif image for the preview.

give me cute gif images if you have any; so that i can convert them to screensavers (only when i get time, because it involves hell lot of work)

Can u please tell me how to convert any gif files to screensavers? I wann do it my self and post it here

There is nothing like a big secret in it.
Fisrt of all I used Image ready and Adobe photo shop to split and resize individual frmaes from gif file, then I used MBM tool (search for it, u will get it free) to create a mbm file, I created a ini file for the screen saver then i used make sis (another free utility) to create sis file.

Thanks, mvadu. I have done it man! But one more thing I wanna know is how to convert to sis file. Yes, I hae make sis application but I don't know how to input UID value. Please tell me, thanks.

In Make SIS there is something called "Basic Mode", in that you need not to input UID value. Try that. (Mode button is there in top right/left side)

I tried creating the screen saver as mentioned in this thread.

I am using Nokia 6681. When ever I install the file, it does not show up the in the screen savers list. The screen saver name still remains the same "Nokia 6681"

I do not understand, how it would work? What is this .sc file all about. Do I need to also rework on the .sc file or how can I create a screensaver of my own.
