bluepulse
What is bluepulse?
-The best way of taking the internet with you while mobile, it's fast, easy and works on most regular mobile phones.
-A free program for mobile phones that allows you to run tiny, useful widgets for a variety of uses, such as instant messaging and RSS.
-Java (MIDP1 and 2) and Symbian compatible - works on most phones.
-Open and free developer tools - build your own bluepulse widgets and reach a global mobile audience.
bluepulse lets you take the stuff you do on the internet with you on your mobile phone.
Here's how...
The bluepulse client
Set up a free account and we'll send the bluepulse client to your mobile phone. It'll work with almost any phone, on any network, anywhere. Once on your phone, it runs tiny widgets that do useful things.
bluepulse widgets
The bluepulse client comes with some starter widgets pre-installed - an RSS Reader widget that you can use to keep up with the news or view a blog, and a Buddies widget that lets you do MSN, Yahoo! and ICQ instant messaging from your phone.
A growing community of enthusiasts, businesses (and the elves at bluepulse) are hard at work building more widgets for you to use. There are already widgets for TV and movie listings, music, news, and more. And if you can build a simple database-driven web page, you can build a bluepulse widget.
The bluepulse website
Sign-in to the website to add and remove widgets, change what they do, and personalise the way they're displayed on your phone. You can also do many of these things from within the bluepulse client on your phone.
