SMS 007 is a system for secure encryption of your SMS communication. It provides you with privacy against eavesdropping and message interception.
To achieve this, modern cryptographic techniques (AES cipher, SHA-2 hash function) are employed. The SMS messages are transmitted through the network in encrypted form, and stored in your phone in encrypted form as well; therefore, even if your adversary gets access to the network or gets your phone, they are unable to read the messages. Moreover, SMS 007 system has its own encrypted contact list, your secret contacts are hidden from anyone who would get your phone in their hands.
SMS 007 is needed in both sending and receiving phones.
