These extracts below are from another forum. Credits to be given to them.

Resetting Opera v8.6 Trial

1) Install SExplorer onto phone if u dont already have one.

2) Go to c:\system\data\ of your phone.

3) Delete the file "viger.dat".

4) If Sexplorer gives any error simply restart SExplorer. This is due to a bug in SExplorer.

5) And u are done. Opera trial period will be reset!

Alternatively.....

1) Copy "viger.dat" to a folder on your memory card.

2) Remove the card and re-insert into a card reader and plug it into your PC.

3) Mark "viger.dat" as read only.

4) Re-insert card back to phone.

5) Copy the file back over to its original location on c: drive of your phone.

6) You will have an unlimited trial.

ok this is my update, iv been using opera now for a week wite the viger.dat file set as READ ONLY! iv been monitoring it and the trial has gone from 56 days to 62 days and hasnt moved for 3 days now! so if u want a never ending OPERA TRIAL just set the viger.dat file to READ ONLY, enjoy!

SYS folder and SYSTEM folder are different. You have to look in SYSTEM folder in C
I have 3250 too and it is working.

Guys, hope u r following Step 1 onwards strictly. U did install SExplorer rite? Basically there r 2 folders i.e "SYS" and "SYSTEM". Go to the "SYStem" on c: and u will find it... Been working well on my n80....

I have no idea regarding the increase in the number of days. As for whether it stays at 56 days, i am not too sure as i tried only the first method. Y dont u report here after a few days of observation? Thanks.....
