Like smartmovie ,u can Play any Avi files ,With all options Same like SMARTMOVIE player for symbians!
And More no Need to Register ...Its Freeware !!

Test will all fullscreen views and landscape,porttrait etc etc .

A better preference to Play all ur Avi Files.

I did instalation of divx player, but i dont have sound when i started playback of movie. I have nokia e70. Do you have any tips? Maybe I need new codec or something?

U dont need "new codec" , you need the codec from smartmovie. If any1 can play with image and sound (including myself) , than you are doing something wrong. So, install the codec from the smartmovie website and try again.

its working fine on my n80 without the smartmovie thing, i just instaled the divx player and it works, thanx loads

It wont work on the N91 with the updated firmware, Same issue that Smartmovie has with the new firmware i guess......

Video scale size 320X240
Aspect 4:3
Frame/sec 12.5
Bitrate 192
In the options box I have High quality and stretch it set to on.

Audio

sampling freq 44100
Channels 1
Bitrate 32
DVD language select Default

It's really a case of trial and error to find the settings that work best on your phone.

I have a problem though, i put an avi file in my videos folder on my memory card but its not finding it. am i putting it in the correct folder?
or do i need to put it somwhere else?

I put my videos in the videos folder, it finds them fine. Try putting them in the DivXPlayer folder and see if that works.

U probably have done this but i missed it the first time. When u enter in divx player go to manu->browse files. Then again go to menu->rescan file systems. It should find your files wherever u put them.

Hm... I dont get it... I doesn't work on my N80... When I want to open the apploication it just shuts down and goes back to the phone menu.

Man it would be very good and easy to be just this , BUT have you looked into the App Manager--Options menu? U have to deactivate the option that allows you to install only signed apps. I am sure you'll manage, even if I wasnt entirely clear.

Doesn't work on my N80 firmware 4.0623.0.41. when I open the application it automaticaly returns to the phone menu... Same with either Smartmovie or Divx player... Could anyone help? Thanks...

works great on my N71, but must use correct coverter (eg smartmovie is really good) before hand then transfer the file on your fone.

DivX player just stopped working !!! On screen appear "dll new version"

On my N73 (newest ME-Firmware) when i start the player it says that the Test-Version has expired and i have to download a newer version. And the only thing i can do is "Exit".

Any ideas?
Where did you get this from?

Can´t find it on divx-com.

DivxPlayer is freeware but it eventually expires...This version should work at least till 31.3.2007. Let´s hope it does not expire.
