BitDefender Mobile Antivirus is designed to protect mobile devices against malware. The Beta 2.0 works on the following types of mobile devices:




Windows Mobile Pocket PC versions 2002 and higher
Windows Mobile Smartphone versions 2002 and higher
Symbian Series 60 Smartphone
Symbian Series 80 Smartphone


The product has two independent modules:
- BitDefender Mobile Antivirus: the program that runs on the mobile device
- BitDefender Mobile Antivirus Update Module: the program that runs on the PC. This software installs and updates the BitDefender Mobile Antivirus on your mobile device.

Real-time protection. It keeps your mobile device safe from malware by scanning all accessed files.


Virus scanning and removal. The scan engine based on the award-wining BitDefender technologies scans for and removes malware.


Easy updates. BitDefender can be updated via PC, using the update application, or via GPRS (only for Nokia devices with Symbian OS).

Professional technical support. It is offered online by qualified support representatives.




System requirements for the Update Module:
Pentium MMX 200 MHz or higher processor
Minimum 64MB of RAM Memory (128MB Recommended)
Minimum 40MB available hard disk space

Windows 98/NT-SP6/Me/2000/XP
Internet Explorer 5.0 ( or higher)
Microsoft ActiveSync (for Windows Mobile)
Nokia PC Suite v6.6 or higher (for Nokia devices with Symbian OS)

The product has been tested and is fully functional on the following devices:

- HP iPaq different models, Dell Axim x50
- Nokia 6680, 6600, 3230, 6260, N90, N70, Communicator 9300, 9500
- Motorola MPx220, QTek S200, Orange SPV C600, T-Mobile MDA

Installation Instructions
1. Download kit here (http://download.bitdefender.com/mobile/beta/bitdefender_mobile.exe)
2. Install the kit on your PC. During the installation you will be prompted to select the type of mobile device that you own.
3. Install BitDefender Mobile Antivirus on your mobile device.

- for Windows Mobile:
The installation package is transferred automatically via ActiveSync to the mobile device. If this method fails, you should copy manually BD-PocketPC.CAB or BD-SMARTPHONE.CAB from the installation folder (default C:\Program Files\Softwin\BDMobile_10) to the device and execute it.

- for Symbian

The installation package is transferred automatically via Nokia PC Suite to the mobile device. If this method fails, you should copy manually BdMobile.SIS (for Nokia devices with Symbian Series 60 OS) or BdMobile_nc.SIS (for Nokia devices with Symbian Series 80 OS) from the installation folder (default C:\Program
Files\Softwin\BDMobile_10) to the device using the communication software provided with the phone. The installation package is transferred as a message in your Inbox folder. Open the message and follow the instructions to complete the installation.

i downloaded it on my N70...it worked gr8:applaus: ... n my mobile now runs faster .. better than Norton:saythat: !!!!!

my friend... that size is not 2 b installed on ur Mobile... u download that update module just 2 b able 2 update ..!!! u get the latest update on ur computer.... then a .Sis file will appear ( 60 or 120 KB ) that u install on ur mobile !!!

any way... now i attached the last updated file...works very good on My N70.... never slow down.... !!!:goldcup:

that .Rar file that i uploaded contains the AV installer file and the update installer file

when i installed it on my N70..it says...last update "Sat, 04 Nov 2006"

I use NK6600
I try to update
1st times this said PCsuit not found (I already have PCst for 6600!!!)
then I download PCst v.6.81 from Nokia.com and this allowed me to update
and then I try to install update manually it's succes
but when I open this app. on 6600 it's said "no update issue"!!!
can you help me pleasesss

actually..i donno what 2 say !! i'm not that expert u r lookin 4 ... all i got here is my PC n my N70 !!!

but try this:
try 2 completely uninstall Bitdefender from ur 6600...then restart it.
download the .Rar file that i uploaded... extract it.
u should find 2 files " installer & update installer "
1st... transfere the installer file into ur 6600..and install it....restart again
now transfere the update file....install it...that should b over now !!
u don't need any thing else 2 update...

u can check the date of the update like that :
on Bitdefender screen press
"Menu" ---> update
"options" -> last update

f all that didn't help u @ all...try 2 download the update module (http://download.bitdefender.com/mobile/beta/bitdefender_mobile.exe) and install it on ur PC

and read the S60 manual (http://www.bitdefender.com/files/Main/file/bdmobile_s60.pdf)

and read it well.... it should help !!! as it gives u the details of every thing

Download the kit to your pc. This way you can update it anytime you want (ensure your mobile phone's connected to your pc), incase there is an update. Great AV, does not affect the performance (speed) of your mobile phone.
