Flash videos work with flash player v8. As far as i know there is only a flash lite v2 player for s60v3 and that one does not support flash v8 movies.
I don't think there is a way to play video files with flash on symbian for now. Maybe with adobe's the next release.

Yeah, same problem here. While our smartphones can't play flash movies on the web, I use the tinytube website --> http://tinytube.net/
It's very useful if you want to see movies from the web on your cellphone.

HI,
The flash player lite on N-series general is only compatible for Flash 7.
So all websites with flash 8 and 9 are not supported at this moment.
Adobe support mentioned that it will take some time to update this flash player.
But i can tell you this i have seen the Nokia Internet tablet 800, mmm no problem viewing YOUTUBE websites at all--))

Besides the fact that the latest flash player for symbian is flash lite 2.1 which supports content up to the level that flash player 7 does, you still need a browser plug-in for the flash player which i dont think anyone has made yet. You can watch youtube vidoes and videos from other sites on www.tinytube.net just click stream the video. If it doesn't work on real player than change to ports that it goes through in the real player settings. And select yes for use proxy my proxy port number says 1091

you can also use orb to stream videos form your computer to your phone anywhere as long as your phone has a connection. orb allows you to stream videos from other sites aswell. http://www.orb.com/ just install orb to your computer, keep your computer on and go to mycast.orb.com on your mobile where you'll sign in and be able to stream videos, audio, and pictures

also try to search the forums for emTube..
Its a standalone program that focusses on youtube videos, and it is able to search youtube, and view videos.
