Well its been long to b tired for the moderators & admins for informing ppl that DotSIS is an english forum,

Still many ppl forgets it,some makes the mistake(using native language) without knowing it. I want to change this trend forever......My idea is to set up a section for regional or, International forum.

The rules will b(as far I have figured till date)

Only 3 thread per Language(1for apps & games,1 for other stuffs,1 for help & request)
No language which is not very popular(in the sence of reply & member count) will b tolerated & closed forever
1 Mod related to each language will b selected, whose main function will b moderating only their language thread,if he fails demotion is for sure
If not old mod,the mod assigned for this very zone will b normal member in other areas of forum, but there will b every good chance of his promotion
None who doesnt know the very language he will b assigned to & enlish will not b permitted for the task of mod.
If any case we cant find out a proper mod for a language or, none comes to take the duties, the language will not b allowed to b discussed.
Nowhere else other than this forum native languages will b allowed, mistakes will lead to infractions & ban

Now I need some real opinions if anybody have anything to say....virtually on anything on this matter

This IS a very good idea.
We could give a try to the Phill members n their tagalog.
Its been about time too. There r quite a number of pinoy in dotsis who couldn't communicate in english very well, n some terms r only made sense in tagalog.
As for the traffic to this new zone, i'm sure it will be a crowd puller.
As for the monitoring mod, i would like to suggest gabreil. I'm not a pinoy, n my tag sucks, otherwise i would have volunteer myself. For helpers to keep the zone n all the threads inline be it in discipline n obeying the standing regs n rules, gabriel could be assisted by other pinoy Team Dotsis Members such a eljay or normal but active n helpful members such as arjay, ngwz n rigourmortis.

On other languages, i'll get in touch with other Malaysian such as radical n ana to c if we need to have a go at the malay language as well. There r many malaysian here but not too obvious as most does understand n could communicate in english. But, if there's a need for one, i will volunteer to monitor.
As i said earlier, it is a very good idea, lets give it a try. I will do the best myself to help making this international zone works.

yeah!it is good idea but whereas i think this is too long i mean that how we select the mod of every language and handle the international section.it takes too much time,in my opinion it is better to leave this...

sorry,if u mind my opinion..

Good initiative, hime. I once closed one philipino forum, but lots of members complained! Good to give some place for those who don't understand english within our rules.

an opinion is an opinion, a kind of feedback, i dont see why anyone would mind at all.
The idea of creating other languages zone, if we read carefully to what the admins lined out is to cope up for our members who couldnt comunicate very well in english.
We r doing something positive here.
Rather than trashing threads or deleting posts, we r preserving em now.
We r going to handle the other languages with high count of posts 1st.
Thats why the tags came as my example.
Starting this zone meaning retaining their membership and their traffic. When words spreads what we r offering here, many more will join us, i'm sure.
As for moderations, it could be done on volunteer or application basis to the admin, drhimadri himself based on the needs.
Look at the guideline given. If the demand for certain language is not there, then there's just no need for a mod or even a thread.
Its all depends on demand n needs.

Ur bro.

this is a very good idea indeed.. it will benefit also those people who are not good in english and people who really dont know how to but seeking aid.. as we all have seen, the most complaint users are the filipinos, i, for myself, am tired of making reminders even on pms and posts.. this would be an answered prayer for all of us.. and if ever this section would be launched, i voluntarily take responsibility for my fellow countrymen as their moderator but with also the help of azlan1 who also understands our language

i don't think its a wise idea... a large forum like dotsis should strictly stick to a language which is universal in nature (obviously english)... introducing international section will lead to utter confusion and mess in the forum (as mostly members are posting in wrong places)... just look at how many non-english forums introduce english section... hardly any?

great idea hime, we really needed this.

But one fact should be strict that use of native language in wrong place should not be tolerated.
