Guys, i have a 6630 too' and when i install it it goes through, and the application opens, but when i push the record button, the application exits emideatly, pls tell me that there is a "working" good cam coder because the one of the 6630 sucks, and comparing it to video recorder of 3230, it is no match... so pls, help me... :eek:

No, ETI functions with the back camera, not with that of front ;)

But if you installed Smart Movie, looked your video filmed with ETI, with Smart player, plants the application.

He doesnt play any AVI files that I have on my MMC...

Guys,

to play your recorded clips on a pc you would need to convert it first. What i would suggest is to convert it using the smartmovie converter for PC. Then you can play this using winamp or realplayer.

Give this a try, if it does not work, let me know will suggest an alternate method.

Hey man, the prob is that you dnt have the proper video codec in your pc. Download divx player ( free download) from divx.com and it'll work fine. Another idea is that you can install a codec pack in your pc. If you have the converter that came with smart movie installed in your pc you can play it that utility also. Get back with what happend....:)

i tried to play it with the smartmovie converter but it wont play..
i download the divx player (its a bundle actually, comes with the codec etc)
and it works.. i was able to play it on winamp but unfortunately there was a huge DIVX written on the video. i guess you have to buy it??!

but what i really want is to convert the video i took using my cellphone so i can play it on my pc..
like converting it to a .avi so i can send it or post it online.. is that possible?!?

hi... i would like to have more details to help you out...

1. what format did the video you recorded is? I believe that ETI records it in .avi . If it is in .avi you don't have to convert it at all.

2. The huge divx written must be the logo. it will disappear in a few seconds. u must be having a configuration option for the codec(in start menu) in that u can disable the logo. If the logo doesn't disappear in a few seconds then it might be something due to a trial version of any of the s/w that you are using. try recording a clip for atleast 1 min then you can play it to see what happens..

3.if possible send me a clip and i'll try to convert it. if sucessful i'll send you the converted file,all the s/w i used and the steps. MY mail id is looking4u_vgp@yahoo.com

Camcorder works fien,,,, but the ETI Player... have some conflict with Smartmovie.. when i open video clips from the gallery it opens with ETI player(used to open with Smartmovie), but doesnt play, then closes after a while,, but when i open with Smartmovie no problem... hope it soon be fixed... mah unit is 6630.
