messages transfer

Hello all ! i got the nokia N70 and i just buy the N73me is there any software that i can transfer all the messages from the N70 to my new mobile ? (note the messages in the n70 has been strored to the MMC )

use Nokia PC-Suite (at http://www.nokia.com/pcsuite) backup ur messages in N70 to pc then restore them to N73

i cannot see on my pc where is rthe back up files stored

just use your file manager from nokia pc suite and browse your inbox, copy all your message to local drive, and then reverse the process with the other phone (copy from local drve to inbox using pc suite's file manager)

if you're using the backup option (pc suite's backup) just connect he first phone, backup data, swith to second phone (connect) and the open backup app and choose restore.

One thing you can do is to copy the x:\system\Mail folder to the PC and then copy it to the memory card of the other mobile .. in the \system\ and replace the older mail folder

here x: is the drive you are using in your present phone (C:if Phone memory and e: if memory card)

Next delete the mail folder in the phone memory of the other phone where you want to transfer the messages .... using any file explorer like X-Plore etc.
(make sure that in the message settings of the second mobile you have chosen memory card)

next change the message memory from memory card to phone memory and the phone will ask if you want to transfer all the messages to the new memory location .... select yes and you are done ..

It also asks whether you want to delete the sms .. that's your choice.

i think there is no way to copy sms back to symbian 9 phone's from older symbian 8's
