It isnt a Mod Edit. Its designed like that, and, only specific sites have been blocked. This step has been taken to prevent extreme spamming and advertising by those sites users here on DotSiS.

Please try and understand the fact that this is done only to those sites whose members spam and advertise that site.
IMO, this system is perfect and I dont think any changes are required.
If its made a hyperlink, why make a change at all? The advertisers will get their purpose served.

Dear alex,
it doesn't matter if anobody give a livelink, a hyperlink a concealed hyperlink like u demonstrated above, or even mentioning a website like "u can get cool stuffs for ur fon at phoneyfelony.com, see u there." it's all categorized as an attempt to advertise a website.
if, when i click on the link, n it is just something which is of a different concept fm what DotSIS is, n i think it will be of a benefit to other members, say it's a genuine used fons outfit promoting a real deal cheap used fons, payable via paypal for instance, i might let it go, n move it to the sales n promo zone. our members could try their luck with a used fons if they want to, at arm length deal.
but, if i click on the link or i copy n paste the mentioned site, n i found out it belongs to another site which is doing the same thing as we r,
i'll start clicking on the poster's name, checking his other posts.
if he is a new member, i'll just give him a brotherly reminder, not to do it again.
if all his posts only contained the same stuff, n nothing worth to be viewed upon, i'll delete everything n pm him to stop promoting other sites in DotSIS.
should he made a similar posts after my pm, he is just asking to be banned.
so, if the purpose of making a post is just to promote other sites similar to DotSIS, immaterial of how u give out the link, it is still not allowed, either by the system or by the mods.
spam is another word to it my bro.
hope this helps.
