Heeelllpppp! ! ! N70 Problem

Hello to everyone...I have a problem with my N70.
I use powermp3 2.41 (downloaded on dotsis) but when I start the player my phone is very,very slow...
When I start "New SMS" music stops for a second and when typing letters they appears slowely...In bottom line my phone is incredibly slow when I listen music via powermp3.
If I listen to music a can't do anything without stoping a music for a litlebit..
I have about 10mb free on C (flash)
And I have PQI 1Gb memory card....
One more thing...powermp3 brakes down after period of time...and if I'm searching for song in playlist,when scroling, powermp3 just exits by it self...(Crashes down)....Plz can somebody help me on this one...Thanx to everyone in advance! ! !Aleksandar
P.S.When I'm listening music on N70 default player everything is normal...But I hate that player ! ! !

use music player tat comes default in n70. its slow though. cant help it. free up ur memory card atleast 50mb. the more free space u hav the more fast ur fone will be.

Have you try installing the application on your phone instead of on your memory card...... :cool:

why not use LCG Jukebox? it takes up less ram than powermp3 and you can adjust the volume by percentage! 1%-100%! isn't that great?

hey buddy the issue is due t version conflict in ur phone. did u try to install another version of the power mp3.
first u got to delete the power mp3 from ur phone and reinstall the latest version or the stable one power mp3 1.01 version (present in dotsis itself)

As I observed, PowerMP3 2.41 sligthly slow my 6630 and drain my battery faster. Better use the 1.01 version, I encounter no problem.

this could be of various reasons ...

could be version conflict - for this check the official site of the application ur using & see which version is compactable with ur phone ... u can download that version from dotsis then :P

Could be RAM - well phones have less ram n many applications running together can often make the phone slow specially background applications ... forfixing this close the other applications u have n swith ur phone's theme to basic ... "recently i discoverd that good looking themes take more RAM MEMORY" which i usually have to change to start games ...

Could be the memory card - YES this is one reason many phones become slow ... the last best card for s60 is 512 MB ... this is because the phones access n data transfer rates are really limited ... unlike a PC they cant transfer process data that quickly ... the bigger the memory card is the slower the phone becomes and a stage arives where it hangs ... the solution for this is to use a smaller memory card ...

could be card compatibility - sumtimes the memory card isnt compactable with the phone ... like in N73 if u use a 2GB kinstn card the phone slows down ALOT ... best way to fix this is to use a supported card ...

Well done bro. But still this 2.41 drain my battery not in normal way in my N70. You can feel the way the battery life goes.

But this software is good. :)

i had this bug. ran player, it loads then closes. but next time all was ok!:confused:

powermp3 2.41 is FAKE. Last official was 1.01. And it's ok on latest N70ME firmware! Jukebox... u know there're problems wit' registration of new ver., and 2.14 has bugs...

that's right. but u forgot one more cause: the antivirus!! it also use a lot of ram memory because it always have to scan new files(downloaded or recieved)and this slows down the phone.


but i also would recommend the default(built in mp3 player).:)

I also had similar problems with powermp3... i decided to stick with the inbuilt musik player.you can also use the open source player oggplay 1.170.
