N73 Problem ! ! ! Please help ! ! !

1.When I download a player for avi. files like (Divx player or Smartmovie)
all high quality videos doesen't work .What I need to do ?

Probably your phone isnt powerful enough to play vids just like your pc. So i recommend you to reduce the framerate and bitrate. (15fps, 336kbps)

As far as I´m concerned even within the *.avi system there is a certain variety of file code types. So additionally to what dmgab was mentioning my advise would be to use the suitable converter of the application installed on your phone only. In case of smart movie for example use the smart movie converter (after you have it unlocked - unless of course you wanna have some grey bar in the middle of your screen appearing from time to time)
Besides why do you need high quality if your screen res is limited to 320x240 pix? Also helps saving a lot of memory on your SD. Oh yes, talking about that you should also take care not to buy slow rubbish memory cards for 5€. You see the difference. Also to reach higher standby periods. Check it out.

Look bro...try Smart Movie converter or Super converter from the Forum download section! Try scaling the Video bitrates properly ! N73 is quite capable of playing videos with higher bitrates...upto 1MBps !

Well, you can actually have high quality if you change the bitrate to 1024kbps (or higher) its the same quality of dvdrip or rmvb in a 320x240 pix screen.
Use "super" to convert files:
Video Format: avi
Codec: mpeg4 (mp4)
Bitrate: 336kbps
320*240
Aspect: 4:3
Audio Format: mp3
Bitrate: 56kps

Maybe u dont exit opened app completely..ei. running game on background.. Try to use handy taskman..it can help u to see any opened app running on background and close/kill the app..and also can see how much RAM available.

hello i have n73.....but there is a prob that is i installed a smartmovie it worked for many days but now when i see a movie it says programme damaged and there is a code.......gimme a solution.....when i re install it also its like that.......i cracked the code anoll but no ues.......pls help........

reformat your phone, the code is inside the phone memory thus it cannot be removed easily. Try looking for a better version of smartmovie too, there were some in the past that did the same thing as yours.

i dont think there should b any problem in playing high quality avi files
cause i have tried few movies(dvdrips) on ma n73 all work fine
last 1 i watched was the incredible hulk ^_^

Use DivX (http://www.dotsis.com/mobile_phone/showthread.php?t=91223) player instead of Smartmovie..this is the easiest way to solve it without formatting your phone.

u can try to use the older version DivX player......
