This dumping program is really small and uses less then 96kb on your memory stick.
Installing the dumper program to your memory stick:
1. Connect your PSP to your computer via USB cable.
2. Extract the Rar file to your memory stick:
Custom Firmware Users: Extract the RAR file to your PSP \ GAME150 folder.
Firmware 1.50 Users: Extract the RAR file to your PSP \ GAME folder.3. Close USB connection
Dumping a UMD:
1. Insert the UMD into your PSP and plug in the USB cable.
2. Go to your PSP 'Game' -> 'Memory stick' menu and start the 'USB Special System Storage' program.
3. When the program starts press "X" on the 'Virtual FAT16 . UMD ISO-9660' option.
4. Your will now have a new drive letter in my computer, Windows XP may automatically open it. eg: E:\
5. Open the new drive letter and you will see there is an ISO file called 'UMD9660.ISO'
6. Copy the 'UMD9660.ISO' file to your hard disk, you can view the dumping progress on your PSP.
(It could take up to 30 minutes to dump a full 1.8gb ISO, this is because the UMD drive has a fairly slow reading speed)
7. Once the copy has finished, Press 'X' on your PSP to close the USB connection to your computer.
8. Remove the 'Read-only' attribute on the ISO by going to the File properties and unchecking the "read only" checkbox.
(Windows copies the "read-only" attribute on the copied file because the UMD drive is read only.)
9. Rename the ISO file you copied to your hard disk to the name of the game you dumped.
10. You can now now insert another UMD and start from step 3 or choose the 'Exit to XMB' option to exit the program.
The dumping process should be similar on Macintosh and Linux computers as well.
Dumping a 900mb ISO took me about 15 minutes. The transfer rate averages around ~1 Megabyte per second.
Its probably best to plug in your AC Adaptor because dumping a UMD will use a lot of battery power.

Note: you can also view the files stored in Flash0, Flash1, Flash2, Flash3 and your memory stick to your computer.
Your PSP Flash memory is 'READ ONLY', So the Flash memory and system data are safely protected.
You cannot write to flash so you cannot brick your PSP using this program.
