ViewRanger is a unique immersive mapping tool for mobile phones that provides information about your immediate surroundings through a natural and intuitive display.
Unlike a static map, ViewRanger provides a 3D panoramic view of your location - where all the main landscape features are identified and 'tagged'. Hills are named, woodlands and lakes identified, and villages, towns, and prominent landmarks are shown.

ViewTags identify key landscape features and points of interest using the latest Ordnance Survey mapping data.
Highlight and select ViewTags to gain access to more detailed information on a particular landmark or point of interest.
Step 3:Information
View photographs and textual information associated with your selected point of interest and your immediate surroundings.
Uploading your own text and images to an existing ViewTag allows you to record and share experiences with the ViewRanger community
