dotsis has become very slow for past few days..plz tel me war is the reason?

me too, my reason is there are manny user of dotsis

Its because there are 1600 members online at any point of time. Due to this, there is a huge load which is created on the server. Thats why its slow.

The servers will have to be upgraded and/or new servers will have to be added to tackle this problem.

u can surf in mobile by opera browser (not sure about opera mini)
u can download opera from this forum.....
its working fine for me from nokia 6600-n73 ( all s60 phones i used)

once again, the website being slow to load has absolutely nothing at all to do with your internet speed unless you're still using dial up connection... the slow speed is due to the big bunch of us dotsis people using the forum at the same time.

a more elaborated tech explanation:

1. each php page load on dotsis takes up some cpu and ram
2. with so many people using dotsis, the server would be running at its maximum
3. thus, a queue is made for people wanting to surf dotsis, so you have to wait for your turn for the server to send you the data.

this then results in the long waiting time before dotsis loads.

dotsis now under a cheap server due to mony problim.
I hope you all understand.

just for your information... dedicated servers are NOT cheap... by running a traceroute on dotsis.com you can see that we are hosted on layeredtech servers, which actually costs 100++ USD a month... so if you want to keep dotsis alive, try clicking on the ads once a day or so.

Bandwidth on internet should be free but unfortunately many people are selling it for Their greed
Noiw Days Many Internet programmes are being launched to make this bandwidth free

I think after that
dotsis will get unlimited bandwidth
n will not become slow

what dotsis needs now is a better CPU proccesor in the server and definitely a better ram chip than what it has now.
