dotSIS is really a cool forum ... and about this person ... i have seen him get banned n get back n the same over n over again ... anywayz ...

my request:

1 ... delete such person's account permenetly instead of a chance or temporary ban ...

2 ... and note the IP address so that no account can be made with that system in future ...

i know its rather strict mesures but sumtimes they r handy like in this person's case ...

agreed on the basis of being fair ... but let me bring it into your notice i said IP Address if i'm not mistaking ... maybe IP range could be same but not the IP Address ... even if u use the same everthing to set ur computer up in the sense same ammount of ram, HD space etc ... even then the IP Adress of your machine will be diffrent ... unless its the SAME system ...

IP Address is a unique identification number of every system ... its also used to trace the system for a users location ... banning the IP Address wont effect even his neighbour ... anywayz ...

its just an advice i thought would be helpful ... as i myself have seen the results of IP Address bans ... anywayz its alwayz upto the Staff of the site or forum on how to deal with the situation ... and i'd go with their choice coz they would be seeing cirtain other things for that perticular decission ...

IP banning will always come as our last resort to prevent any persona non grata to access DotSIS. Some of us especially the mobile users r given shared ip by our provider.
We have good team of HelperS n Team Members on patrol almost 24 hrs a day here. Not many spammers could escape for too long.
