yup it can b slow at time....like me,from malaysia,i had to woke up early as that is the only time that had a less members logged in..but at peak hours like,lunch hour,mainly 500-800...not to mention at night...

I agree about the site becoming slow. At best, I can browse a page in 10 seconds. At worst, it takes me for more than about 45 seconds to browse a page.

I have a suggestion though you don't really need to follow it. How about reducing the avatar and signature size? After all, it can be a factor for slow browsing. And deleting some inactive accounts, the number of members and visitors alike can also be a factor of slow speed in this site. The traffic is too heavy...

yup...it can speed a little bit..but this website is mainly peeple came to download things,so at peak times all the servers r been used for that.cleaning the old post,thrash post and spam that other members use can b helpful,but take more time.for me,if i browse dotsis in the morning,mainly 3-5 second to load..but the most important thing is we cant block or limited user to use dotsis for just to keep it faster to load.the more the fan of dotsis are,the better.adding more server is the only opinion guys...so thanks!

site owner need to get high speed server my many friend cant login here they have slow speed conection also me too cant browse this site properly even we cant do login with Opera / internet explorer/mozilla etc old versions like 8.54 or other after put user name and password its dont wana give login to user when we click on s\login butten then password not showin in the box its same problem also in cafe there is many server providing us good speed dont know what happned here

Yes, adding another server is really recommended but I know that not everyone has that much money to spend. I think that even the money dotsis earns from ads won't suffice...

The suggestions I provided are just little tweak ups. I don't know but does this site delete 2 or more accounts that are on the same IP? The number of members here are also the one slowing down the site. No, I'm not against all the members here but rather, members who have 2 or more accounts here can be a troublesome bunch.

Yes even though i am on a 2MBps broadband the page load time is more than 10 seconds usually. I think its bcoz of the increased popularity of the forum. Too many people are online. And most of them are downloading, thats overloading the server. dotsis.com occupies rank 3,116 in Alexa's global internet ranking. Thats just too good for a forum. I have never seen a forum occupying such a high position in Alexa's ranking.

Simply Gill,thats happen to me too..the easy way to do it is by clicking the "remember me",after that u can logged in.

it can be done..i know some of them being banned and try to make another account.as i say cleaning old,spam,thrash,wrong post takes time as it mix with post that useful to others.i encounter this when i want to search some programs but being deleted..so it can b a bit frustrating.if some members to post the same file,my idea is to post in various,not just one..maybe it can made sticky.and by that members can just look there rather than have to browse many pages just to find one.

i have my own 2 web sites there server speed is good but only this site slow i think server have to much data load does not matter even how much people online at dotsis but we need to care of them who people cant open this site then we can make dotsis rock best of luck

one thing to remember is that the use of this server is mainly for downloading and uploading....it really depends on what server and how many used it..by now dotsis r surfed as many as 4000+ if i dont mistaken...if it had many server,it could spread the data mo efficiently than just a few...its like a mirror...at one point the server cant handle it,the other can back it up..but this involve money dude..sponsors.

Just my opinion but dotsis needs enforcing especially from spammers and game reposters. The trash zone is full of well... a lot of trash and mostly game reposts (GBA roms included).

Ok... Does dotsis accept donations? I'm sure that even with the thousands of visitors, one of them is bound to be rich and generous...

And yes, this site is very slow it takes 1-2 min. to load a site in dotsis.com (No I dont have a dial-up).. ok 700 users online but with those ad profits the bandwith could be easily raised -> More visitors -> More Money.

Yeah due to large number of members at DotSIS.com, DotSIS is a little bit slow. becasue it has been dedicated for 800 members and it is now over loaded. so thats why dotsis is slow. Hope HIME will do something for better getting better and faster of it.

And a new server why not :) If we all share the same love for dotsis why not give a little bit of money to it...So they can buy a better server done this be4 and seriously the people who do love dotsis will make that small ammount of money to dotsis's bank acount.

Oke guys mods and operators... :> Listen up this is how i did it be4....Make a new topic in the mainframe called Donation for dotsis...In there make a topic with the cost of a full year (ore 2 3) for the new more faster server....Explain to them that it is really needfull to Update the site bcs u have tons and tonssssssss of members and that's taking to much from the server that stands today.....Ask them to post a small Donation for the new server.... Like 2 up to 5 $Dollar$ €Euro€ of whatever u like.....The members who do love dotsis will post that money on ur bank...So u can buy the faster server...

it can b done..but entirely members who join dotsis mainly just to download things they want n some even dont bother what happen...the sites become slow for some reasons..one thing is the low bandwith bcoz of users keep posting or upload a file direct to dotsis...thats why dotsis recommend to use megaupload or rapidshare to minimum its bandwith and spam..thats the main thing dirst...deleting old file and remove spammers...live hard dotsis.com
