Character Limit/post...

I just wanna ask:can somebody mod the 10000 character limit/post because in the last few days i allways have problem with this.:grr::grr::grr:

hello mate ... lol i guess i'm not the only one :P !!! LOL ... i faced the same problem with few posts ... but i think i know what the charecter limit has been set for ...

vB Board supports alot more ... this is just a way to avoid sum issues ... and its a gud way of organising ...

1 - this helps limit spammers n extra junk like that ...
2 - this gives the server lesser burden ... coz my friends forum has nearly no limit on this coz its a PC forum anywayz few posts take alotta time to load ...

i think this is quite clear lol ... best solution is divide ur post so that it doesnt cross the charecter limit ... i think the admins wont favour the increase as it will make the site really slow for our friends who use 56kbps connections n who have lesser ram for the fast processing ... i hope u understand the situation ...

in simple words its like:

Charecter limit increased >>> site being slow >>> members :sweat: >>> making site unUser friendly ...

Charecter limit not changed >>> site being normal >>> members :bud: >>> making site more user friendly ...

LOL ,,, but if ur not satisfied mods can also hold a small poll for this n then u'll see the results ur self ... i bet u the admins would have thought abt this loong before setting the limit ...

i think DotSIS has been organized better for being user friendly ... great work admins ...

sorry mate ur not the only one but sumtimes i think we all must judge a path before choosing it ... coz we get the idea of sumthings n the path becomes less unexpected ...

i think u should PM the admins n ask them abt it ... that'll be better ... lol coz i'm not an admin to tell u exatly why the limit is set ... n if i woz i think the above "user friendly" reason would be my answer to this ...
