you have to be a senior bro' to be able to change your username.. i pm the admin for this problem before.. i wanted also to change my username but the admin said that only senior members were allowed to change their username... if you really want to change your username you should register again bro' or contribute more and wait till you become a senior...

you must be a

DotSIS Helper, Junior MOD, MOD, Super MOD, Elite MOD, DotSIS GFX, Theme Artist and DotSIS VIP... to be able to change your username...

if you really want to change your username now.. just register again with another username..;)

mate if u want sum1 to change ur username try asking one of the administrators ...
i've talked to one of our admins abt this ... according to him atleast a person should work lots maybe till contributor atleast ... or help lots of pepl ... n bring it into his notice and after goin through the contributions he might decide or take a vote of the staff for the appropiate promotion ...
i asked him if the points were set for promotion like reputation points ... havent heard from him abt it yet ... anywayz its one way pepl will contribute n i like his idea ^_^ LOL

U cant become a Senior by posting more......it depends on ur gud work here like helping ppl with their queries n requests......

In one line i wud say:
U can become a senior by ur quality posts n not by quantity of ur posts.

Try to help ppl in H n R Zone....

thanks mate ... according to the admin ... Quality posts may not just be in the H n R zone ... it can also be a contribution of softwares or info thats useful and appreciated ... but its alwayz easy to help pepl ... lol ^_^

They all right! And i more thing .Aside from helping & contributing to become a senior, u should also be a role model/ a good example to others, by following rules. .
You got to option to change ur username, .Wait to become a senior or register again. .

But I don't think that's only a problem on being a staff of DotSIS. I mean in all forums the admin can change the nickname. My friend have a forum Powered By Vbulletn 3.6.7 and he can modify nickname going to USER CONTROL PANEL ->PROFILE -> USERNAME. But i'm talking of Vbulletin 3.6.7 Italian Version,even if i think it's the same ;)

in my own experience,
mods has no power to change the username of the member, only the admin can do it.

Bro, if i am the admin here i cannot changed your username in this way, because if i changed it, many members here will ask me to changed their username too.


what i mean to say is, just contact our admin in the secret way, not in broadcast....

in my own opinnion, the most imfortant is i know my username & password..

Exactly rebenoj ... well Behnam_n you should PM anyone of the admins ... n its upto him if he changes ur username ... other than that ... i've talked to the admin abt the ranking system and i like his idea ... its on how well a person works here ... and if a person is a CONTRIBUTOR then he can ask the admin (coz the admin is a buzy person himself n cant go through every member's post) to go through his posts n select a position for him depending on the posts the admin may either select a positon or not do anything (in case the posts are just useless posts) the easier way is to help people in any help n request zone ... atleast one can be a helper then ... i think the mods should close this thread now as the conditions are quite clear and this is well understood that this is going no where ...

by the way Behnam_n here is a list u'd like to see ... n u'll know who to talk to regarding various zones ... dont forget to add it to ur favs as u might need it alot ...

now please stop expanding this topic n take ur issue to one of the admins via PM ... note the admins may require sumtime to respond as they r buzy people ... also note that this might be considerd as spam coz every one has made it clear not once but many times that this is a personal issue and should be taken to the PM instead of a broadcast like this ...

Respect the rules ... as they are the supporting pillars of any foundation, once they bend they are bound to collapse n every1 knows what that means ...
