DotSIS Weekly Software Rating Competition Results.

Ok Guys Now we will start a Weekly Software Rating Competition here at DotSIS. The Categories will range from Operating Systems, Anti Viruses, Spyware Cleaners, Browsers etc.
The Competition will be held in the PC Help and Request Section and Results Published in the Competition Zone.

Reason for this Competition:
This Competition will allow us to Select the Best Softwares to Help us recommend the Users in Future and also provide all Possible Downloads to these Softwares.

- Rankings Already Completed
+ Browsers
+ Operating Systems

Each Poster will have the Chance to Vote and State the Pros and Cons of the Software. The Competition Thread will be Deleted Afterwards, so as not to create a Hassle with the new incoming posts. While a Sticky Result Rating Thread would be Mentained to Catalogue all the Results.

Rules.
- Only Moderators may create such threads. Users can request the Mods via PM to start a Thread, but they may not start a Ranking Thread. They may however be allowed to ask User's Opnions without a Poll in their Thread.
- Only One Ranking Competition can be held in a Week. After which the Ranking thread would be deleted and the Results would be Updated.
- Users may or may not Post their Opinions in the Ranking Section. Best Comments however will be published alongside the Results along with the Username of the Person who commented.
- 25 Reputation Points to the One who have the Best Comments. But it has to be his own, any copy if made from some other source the source should be mentioned and still the User will get 15 Points for the outstanding Search.
- Comment may or may not be related to the software that got the highest votes.

We Encourage the User's Part in this Competition.

For what I have to say is I'm thinking safari for windows/mac is the best out of the best please look at this video from youtube
If safari was included in the list i would've voted for it but i would say from the list i see i would choose firefox.

Kaspersky is the best and i've voted for it....i've almost tried all the antiviruses & im very much comfortable with Kaspersky, i find Kaspersky,Nod32 & Avast are really very good...

Hi Friends,According to Rating 2007 that we find BitDefender in the top place....
So I jus downloaded and installed BitDefender and checked its performance....
This one is also really very good like kaspersky & NOD32..
It is user friendly(not like kasp,its like nod32),Quicker,Game ON mode(added feature) and lot more...

my vote goes to NOD32.

why?

because:

1.it`s ultimate antivirus system

2.the only antivirus that doesn`t slows your computer at all.
how do i know that?
because i run it on my IBM 300GL with 333 MHz processor and 96 mb of ram and XP (everybody knows xp minimum req)without any single stroking or slowing ;)

i`ve tried almost every single av.all of them are much bigger than nod,they do nothing except slows down your system and demolish your registry base.

3.beside my comment nod is Best Antivirus Product of 2006 [that is opinion of much smarter experts than me]

4. he isn`t so expensive like other antiviruses.

5. he is antivirus only. eset sells just antivirus.
they don`t sell av with extra "command center",firewall etc, for more money ,just because that extras.

6. you can care on him on your usb ;)

Firstly, i want to tell u all tht i hv been designing in PS past one year , so , here is my review of PS:

Pros: User Friendly, Fully Loaded with lotza features for image Editing n Manipulation , U can create whatever u can imagine which means there is no limit in PS, It is the ultimate app for anyone from a GFX Noob to a GFX Expert. Moreover, u can export ur creation in lotza File Formats. Good for Animators too as u can create texture for ur 3D Models. Digital Painting in Photoshop is cool for artists. Matte Painting in PS helps to create realistic scenery/landscapes. A cool app for WebDesigners too.

Cons: Mmmmmm....lemme think.....well....i think my answer for this section is "None".
