Firstly, Hi to all members and thanks for reading this.
This announcement is to announce that fortunately/unfortunately (Whichever way you put it, I dont know), DotSIS Best Desktop Competition has to close down as I have no time for managing a competition anymore apart from my expected duties as a Super Moderator.
Thanks to my college sessions, my 6 day week starts at 7.00 AM and ends only at 10.00 PM, meaning, its impossible for me to manage this competiton.
A request had been posted regarding this among all Team DotSIS members, but, it seems no one wants to manage the competiton anymore. (Truth is: I am the most unloved staff member ever. But, no further details)
For the same reason, BDC is now closed and the edition held on 7th August 2007 was the last one to be held (By me).
I am still hoping that someone (From Team DotSIS) comes forward and accepts the BDC managerial offer, although my hopes are wearing out........
I had a great time managing BDC, and, my heartfelt thanks to ALL members for making this one of the most successful competitions to have ever graced DotSIS, with all editions getting atleast 12-14 entries.
If this competition is restarted, you will come to know about it from a similar announcement from your new BDC manager (IF any). ;)
PS: I havent forgotten to post the results of the 7th Aug competition. That will be done in 3 days time. Please be patient, and, as always, hope for the best. :victory:
