September 29th is here at last.
Last September, i wuz still looking hi n lo for a full appman for my 6600 all over the web after the trial version expired.
I read about DotSIS fm a chat in another forum and decided to give this site a visit. as what was said, i found the appman, got another file, unrealdevman, made my 1st post - an unintended spam actually - thank you for the apps, and never leave DotSIS ever since.
Gone thru some of the bitter sweet memories with this site.
a positive reply from homecrest regarding roktv really made me a happy person. This site is alive! i'm not talking to a bot. The members does exists, there are feedbacks to our probs if we asked the right person the right question.
i sticked around in the Help Zone & The Requests Zone to help out others after that. Found out i could learn more about my fon, the apps, the softs, the techniques, GOD, everything actually.
when my mentor, style_guru made a reply to one of my posts regarding the unreal, a simple one, "u r doing good helping others, keep up the good job." i just knew that DotSIS will always be close to me.
i never even dreamt of becoming a moderator, but one fine day, DrHimadri just made a post saying that some of us are to be promoted as Jr Mod, whomever interested needs to apply, but specifically mentioned that i do not have to. Man, i wus just on cloud seven then. hehe
I nearly cried the nite our site was nearly wiped out infront of my eyes. Both my bros, style_guru n SimplyS were online, we communicated till the end but can't do anything.
An early pm by my bro Mujtaba the next morning assured me everything was under control, but a roll back needed to be done. We lost a lot. That made my hate for spammers and power crazy half bake hackers went to the max. It never subsides though.
The rest is just history then. We rebuilt, and DotSIS is what it is now.
Tonite, i wish to thanx everyone, right up from Hime, all Moderators, all Private Lounge Community members, all members, all members wannabe, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support and trust given to me, and thank you for making DotSIS one of the best site in the world. All of u really have a special place in my heart.
