Thnks button suggestion

why dont we have something like press the thanks button then people will see the information or sumthin because ppl download stuff n dont even take the time to thank us.

Not required. Thanking isnt compulsive and should be used only when someone feels like it. You cant press anyone to thank/repute you. Sorry

Moreover, your position in the forum remains unchanged when your thanks/rep count is taken into account.

i think he's suggesting that people have to press a certain button first (in this case, "PRESS THE THANKS BUTTON") before they can download the applications (games, wallpapers, themes, etc.) that you'll give them...
i think it's more like a "pay as you order" kind of idea...?

For number #1 suggestion as posted by ngwz, the thanks count was removed as there was a huge fraud going on. People created fake profiles and thanked their own other profiles. Due to this, the Rep system was introduced. (Although the thanks system remained, it didnt count anymore)

As for #2 suggestion, I dont accept that at all. Sorry. I have already stated my reasons above.

Hmm..and i just been wondered..WHY does people here like to avoid thanks button?I mean they love to write in THANK YOU but they DIDN'T press the thanks button?Bahh..i dont mind about thankin me,but these people shud know how to appreciated others work... :confused:

He means hidden content tag to be introduced.I have asked hime about it few days ago in helper's zone,but if we have the hidden content script included in forum then the no.of only "thanks" posts will increase as the hidden content can be shown either way ie (when pressed thanks or when replied)
