how to get rid of beleso virus.... manually

i just figured out how to get rid of this virus...

this virus is supposed to send 2 msg. per receiving text... last night, i mean morning, about 12:30 to 2:00 im the morning... i was shocked when my friend texted me at 1:00,.. and in every text, I was confused... because theres nothing in the outbox, i mean it was supposed to be there, the virus is not sending itself..

so, this means that the virus is not active at this hour... then i erased the virus by this steps: ( fexplorer or other file browser will be needed except x-plorer )

1. i erased szwl.mdl ( it depends what the name is, because i accidentally installed this by the name of "szwlsss.sis", so the first 4 letters is the name of the .mdl at recogs,... it is very important to what is the name you installed ) at e/system/recogs.

2. then i erased szwl.mdl at c/system/recogs

3. erase szwlsss.exe at e/system/apps

4. erase szwlsss.exe at c/system/apps... after that erase szwlsss.sis at the same place.

it is very important to follow this in ORDER... if you dont the virus will be active again...

then after that... the virus is gone.... thanks:best_wishes:

the easiest way to erase this virus is to use fsecure AV. Tried n tested 5x..hehe

Guys I know how to get rid of that beleso virus....

Just download avira gmbh mobile anti virus v6.39 in the antivirus section....
i tested it on my n7610 and it works great....
it detects vituses that some anti-viruses cannot.

Caution:some mobile phone got error when installing it....the menu of the phone thus not work?appear anymore if the application got error when installing it....for example on n6600...the menu doesnt appear anymore.....so be carefull to install it....ones it get error immediatelly shut down your phone(dont let the application to get finished installing when the error message appears at installing or else you dont have any choice but to reformat your phone by pressing *#7370# or *#7870#) then turn it on...if the menu still not appearing, shut it off again then pull out the memory card then turn it on (w/o memory card) then if the menu appears....it is already fixed....put back the memory card....then holla....the menu appears.....

i think the best way to remove a SymbOS virus without AV is by unpacking the sis file using unmakesis or sisboom, an then open it using dedit or other textviewer to know what file created by that virus--->delete all of its file

i'd used this trick bcoz my KAVmobile can't detect all component of some virus, for example SrvSender virus or Baselo (my KAVmobile only detect it as a virus when its in installer file format,can't detect when the baselo was infected my phone):sleepy:

that's right stoneray...you cannot remove beleso virus using fexplorer.. use f-secure it remove all kinds of viruses including beleso virus.. tried and tested.. More power...

It can be cleaned by fexplore if the viruses hasn't spreading. coz I've tried it like bluef told us before. and it cannot be done if the viruses has infected the cellphone for a long time. do not turn off the cellphone if the virus has been infected the cellphone at the first time. quickly remove the virus like bluef said. and it works. but if you turn off the cellphone after receiving the virus, so it has to do a hard reset and reformated your MMC.

baselo ain't a dangerous virus. u can delete all of its file manually without need to kill its processes,
