build this simple dongle
for WinXP use UserPort to activate access to LPT
After unlocking need to reformat MMC on FAT (dont use FAT32)

I do got a card reader, is it possible to remove the password?
please step by step if possible, I lock my card,and the phone has been formated there is no way so that I can get my password I know that, so please help me.

I had the following problems where I formatted my phone and it somehow put an unknown password on my MMC card, learning this from another site Iwas able to find the MMC password, It turns out that I activated remote locking which allow me to text a certain message to my phone that which allows me to lock it, if the phone happen to be stolen or lost. It so happen that the special message that I luse to lock the phone end up being the password, so If you put had that option on Im pretty sure thats what the mmc password will be for it worked for me. I can listen to my ring tones now.

PS. the phone I had this problem was a Nokia 9300 and a Nokia 9500 but Nokia headquarters said that they know how to remover the password if the following doesnt work but you will have to mail them the MMC which can take up to two weeks, thank goodness I figured this out. One more week and I would have had mailed out my card. I think I need to call them idiots and tell them about this

dear u got a good solution but the spare in the dongle are not easily avilable like the ic no dose not exactly match which i bought from the market and i would like to know that do this dongle need external power the red dots marked on left side i have attached this file just install without mmc card in ur phone memory after that insert ur locked card in the aplicatio clisk select u will be give the option to restore option just say ok u will be shown pasword just enter it and u got the password
