View Full Version : No Camera Sounds in Pre-FP1 phones

No Camera Sounds in Pre-FP1 phones turned off the camera shutter sound

Its now possible! (Thanks to FCA again)

First apply patch

Put the attached sounds in the corresponding directory eg C: \ System \ sounds \ digital \

Then from Z: \ resources \ apps \ copy Camcorder.r01 (or other for your language)
to C: \ resources \ apps \

After that you have to edit it to point to the empty sound files.
For all the tree files:
"z: \ system \ sounds \ digital \ CamcorderCapture.wav" to "c: \ system \ sounds \ digital \ CamcorderCapture.wav"
"z: \ system \ sounds \ digital \ CamcorderStart.wav" to "c: \ system \ sounds \ digital \ CamcorderStart.wav"
"z: \ system \ sounds \ digital \ CamcorderStop.wav" to "c: \ system \ sounds \ digital \ CamcorderStop.wav"

After every phone restart, when you apply the c2z patches you will have no camera sounds. All done.

it worked on n82... I`v never tough about it :)))) and it was so simple

it worked on n82... I`v never tough about it :)))) and it was so simple

You mean to say "Keep Warning Tone off in profiles" ......... ?

That doesn't work in n73..........

yeah that's trick on n82 doesn't work for N73..well i've know the N73 doesn't have Camcorder.r01 but it's have the CamMojave.r159 & CamMojave.r31 but i've try so so hard to make this trick step by step but still not success..i don't know what's wrong,maybe i've put or edit the wrong folder/drive..:uglyhammer::uglyhammer::uglyhammer:
