FLASH SUPPORT INFO
First…. Thank you Adobe!! Your customers and our community appreciate the fact that you looked at what was best for them and Opening up the SWF and FLV specs goes a long way at spreading the Flash love even more so then ever before.

LIMITATIONS
- At this time we will only support the Flash Container (FLV)
- Don’t look for CorePlayer to play the files ‘within’ a webpage (it will however play linked FLV content and open CorePlayer). Embbedded support will come by early next year with v2.0 of CorePlayerX/CorePlayer API integration.
- We will not support ON2’s VP6 as an embedded video codec anytime soon if at all. If the demand warrants it we will look into the possibilities but till then…

SWF
This is where we are taking a stand back approach. We will likely include SWF support at some point… but are looking at the options of either using the upcoming Adobe Runtime and or…. creating our own from scratch via the newly released SWF specs.

To sign this file, check here: [Since this is a BiNPDA Release, this will work with the BiNPDA SecMan, the easiest way to install unsigned files]. The guide is here:

Also, Official Formats supported for Symbian:
Q: What audio, video, images and container formats will CorePlayer Mobile for Symbian support?

this version has lots of bugs. a minute a go i installed it on my phone and find lots of bugs. im using a nokia n95 8gb. the options in advance tad and buffer tend to close or crash when opening.......... it closes when playing flv and avi files....... id better stick to version 1.2.0. it shows no errors on my phone....................

i have emtube so its ok for me to stick with 1.2.0...........

if you have problems aswell, please do post it here.......

maybe this will work to phone who doenst have FLV like emtube.........

Yes, this is buggy, as is all CorePlayer Releases. The official CorePlayer forum also reports it. But, inspite of the bugs, due to the sheer number of formats supported and features offered, people (including me), use it.

what is the included file "s60_3_0_app_trk_2_8_6.sisx"?? Do i need to install it and for what purpose? I there is also a SecMan.. What is that?

I think 1.2.0 has lesser bugs than this one. try to open your coreplayer 1.2.4 then click menu>tools>preferences> select advance or buffer then click select page. the program closes. it means it crash all of a sudden. this doesnt happen in 1.2.0........

Well don't press left softkey and you will be fine.. despide this bug (and those many others that we can find in every CP release) it's still better than 1.2 , I mean the videoplay engine is what matters in such programs (which is godly) and not the GUI, of curse I'd love to avoid such bugs but with this app I'll spend more time watching videos than browsing the preferences menu for sure.
