    MP4 Files Not playing in Smart Movie 3.41

    Hi,

    Iam unable to play mp4 files in Smart Movie 3.41 on my Nokia 6630.

    "Invalid AVI File" is all what I get.

    The Mp4 File plays perfectly on my JXG Ipod.

    Please help.


    Is there any other Mp4 Player for Nokia 6630. Please let me Know.

    DivX Player and CorePlayer are alternatives.

    But, if the AVI File is encoded for the iPod, it could be unlikely that it wont work. However, it should work in CorePlayer. Just try it.

    yea...we know that mp4 codec for smartmovie is isnt workin...but u can use coreplayer 1.2 to open mp4 files...but..mp4 is lossy format...use avi with divx codec

    Smartmovie plays only Smartmovie Avi...thats y a converter is supplied wiz it....it does not play mp4 files...

    bro u can convert the mp4 format video to a avi format using converters on ur PC, and then u can play the files on ur smartmovie player...

    yes...but smartmovie intall mp4codec in phone memory...why...????

    U have to convert to Smartmovie Mp4...u will notice in Smartmovie Converter...when in the video Settings section u click Configure...there is an option Xvid-Mpeg4...maybe he is not using smartmovie converter to convert his video...he is putting Ipod Mp4...smartmovie install a codec that only it will be able to play...not other...
