I tried on my E66 it works very well. However, on my 6210 Navigator the magnetic compass is gone. I believe the Nokia Maps ver is different for 6210.

If you want voice you have to download it first! Just do it via Nokia Maps Uploader, and it works great

try reloading the maps with maploader, download it from the nokia maps website.. hope this helps!

K! i too had a similar prob! what i did was to turn off all the useless things on the map, like a whole lotta locations that are already visible!!

Go to tools>Settings>Maps>Categories and turn off all the things u dont wanna see!! that way it is able to calculate a route faster!!:happy:

If u dunno, first u need to h@ck ur phone!!
It is fairly easy! just follow the instructions given in "Drakkarious 3.01 FP1, FP2 & PreFP1 - All application installer, expired and unsigned" thread of "Phone rom modding and file signing apps" section!!

nd u should have ur phone h@cked in no time!!:D

Then u can easily install all of these apps without probs!:happy:

turning off all the catagories doesnt help. i tried to do a route to the end of my road but it just stayed on calculating.
ill try removing maps app then put this back on

Try adding a few route markers on the way and route through them to ur final destination!

Also try routing to locations close by a couple of times before calculating longer routes! (i guess this should work) ! i did that and now it can calculate routes easily!!:happy:

Unfortunately, when trying to install the Nokia Maps v2.0.3204 on Nokia 6610 Navigator it says Update error. It seems that it is already preinstalled and conflicting with the cracked version. Anyone knows how to come around this problem? Nice app anyway.

edit I managed to solve it by first updating with the oficial Nokia_Maps_2.0_3204_3.1.sis then apply te cracked sis.

if ur using n95-1, the device will take a long2 time to lock the satelitte.. but u can enable A-GPS to lock it faster..

2. then GENERAL
3. select POSITIONING
4. select POSTIONING METHODS
5. mark the ASSISTED GPS

I have 6220c and Maps information says: v2.0 wk32 b04 so I think that this is same version that I have but cracked one. I signed this cracked sis-file but when installing it won't install because it's already installed.

The map works great, but i have a problem, if the destination adress is far, the app is always calculating, and doesn't show the route...:( Any solution?

happen the same for me, but if you put for work online to calculate, it work, but you have to pay the data transfer(+-300kb). Using Wi-fi it's free, obviously.

coz mine try few time still cannot.
Nothing happen when press Menu1 using Drakkarious method.
Please help.....

i have a problem i've installed nokia maps 3.1.8 on my N95 8GB and now i want to get back to this version but when i start the application it says that i have a old version and need to download new version from nokia.com/maps :(

Cuz none 3.0 cracked wont work.
They never update any routes. It says that I am on the same spot all the time

Bro you need to delete the Folder Cities and QF file on Drive E or on your Memcard. And try to install again this version on your phone...:victory:

Try to use SECMAN if doesn't work try HelloOx 1.03 instead...:victory:

How did you solve the problem. I cant get the voice working. Btw. I also cannot find where I can turn up the volume...

Bro you need to go to the map uploader and click on voice tab and select what voice/language you want to use on your phone and download for it.

Turn up the volume. You can find that option when you are already navigating with Nokia Maps on the Options > Tools > Settings or just simply press the button from your phone volume...:victory:

Yes Bro! But also check on the Options > Tools > Settings > Internet > it must be "NO" on Go Online at Startup and Roaming must be OFF...:victory:

I think Bro you need to reinstalled again the Nokia Maps it maybe corrupted. Delete ur Cities folder on drive E and the qf file on the root directory...:victory:

i installed nokia maps v1.2 then try to update to this one. but i got update error. tried deleting the cities + qf file. no good. after deleting them, nokia maps 1.2 won't work. so reinstalling now. i'm using a 6110 nav.
anybody got any ideas to make it work? help anyone?

The map works great, but i have a problem, if the destination adress is far, the app is always calculating, and doesn't show the route... Any solution?

Edit: The app only calculate a long far route if it work online. (on a n95 v.31.0.017) (sorry for my english).
