hey hey, use this to unlock your garmin maps and make garmin use internal GPS,

1) Get card Number, Start garmin, go to settings, then to about
2) make a note of Unit number
3) close garmin and remove memory card.
4)type the Unit number in the first empty space in the Garmin Unlocker and GEN your key
5)open notepad and save the GEN key as SW.UNL
6)place the file in the garmin dir eg: F:\garmin
7)remove memory card from card reader
8)go back into garmin and go to settings, and then system and change it

This Unlocker also includes the map unlocker, To be used with MapSource

Or you can just use IEMI to UnitID converter to find your Number

johno.. i need help.. my friend using n95. i just install garmin gps in his hp.. i doit all the instruction.. but still the phone not detect any signal from his internal gps, but my phone are running smooth... is there any different between n95 n n95 8gig?

I am also using a n95, sometimes it does take sometime to get a signal, but what works usually is go to tools then to where am i. Also start the nav withiut a signal and it should pick it up
