Welcome to Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam! Speed is everything in this game. Compete against four other skaters in a variety of diverso locations including San Francisco, Rio de Janeiro and China. Aim to win every race and become a downhill skating legend!

If you're new to the game you can find out how to play and win races via the Tutorial which can be found within the Help menu. Alternatively you can jump straight into one of the two game modes:

Free Skating
Use the Free Skating mode to practice on individual tracks. Choose a character, select a track and be first to the finish line to win the race.

Career
Select your skater and beat the competition on all nine tracks. Tracks become unlocked as you win the previous track within the same terrain. The first track of each terrain is unlocked by default. You can switch between careers any time. Your progress is saved for each character independently.

Each track features shortcuts. Whenever you're having trouble staying ahead of the pack, look out for shortcuts and use them. To help you getting started, red arrows indicate shortcuts within the first track of each location.

Skating:
Left (4) - Steer left.
Right (6) -Steer right.
Up (2) -Boost (full meter)

Tricking:
Once in the air, either via an Ollie (press FIRE or 5) or off a ramp, you can start tricking.
