**New** Hardware Repair VIDEO Series : How to remove glued UEM and UPP
I HV FOUND THIS USEFUL POST FROM SOMEWHERE;) THX TO ORIGINAL POSTER
Video's are popular, so I'm on the wagon too :cool:
I hope you all will enjoy this, it took me alot of time to complete. The video will show me how I remove several UEM and UPP's, and afterwards how I remove the glue.
Tools needed for doing this :
1 : A good Hot Air Station with a 6mm nozzel
A: For removal of UEM or UPP : Air = 3 Heater = 5
B: For removal of glue : Air = 2 Heater =3.5
2 : A doctors scalpel, Dentist scrape tool, rounded small screwdriver ect, use what you fell comfortable with !
3 : Good flux,
4 : Solder Wick
4 : And of course steady hands
You can find the Video and is 17 min long and around 38 MB in size and encoded to play with Windows Media Player.
