but under network indicator on top of de display it showing 3G

does your operator supports 3G? ..... if not, try setting your phone on GSM only ..... tools > settings > network > gsm (instead of dual mode)...

Yes it is possible to shut the 3G Network.

Go to Tools > Settings > network> network mode or something > And change it to GSM that will make it work on 3G mode.

tejpal, there's no chanse you can do it alone with that calculators ... it's bb5 phone and that unlocking programs will not work... you have to find someone who is unlocking bb5 phones ... don't send your IMEI on the Net ...
