Requirements
* Internet connection (preferably broadband)
* Depending on your phone model, you need DSS-25 Deskstand,
DSS-25 compatible phones or DCU-60 USB cable, DCU-60 compatible phones
* Macromedia Flash Player installed in Internet Explorer.

Minimum system requirements:
* Windows 2000, Windows XP
* Pentium III 600 MHz
* 300 MB free hard disk space
* 256MB RAM
* Macromedia Flash installed
* Internet Explorer

Installation instructions

1. Download the file to a temporary folder on your PC.
2. Run the downloaded file, and follow the instructions that appear.
Note! If you are using deskstand DSS-25, please go to step 6
3. If you are using a DCU-60 USB cable an installation of the USB Flash driver will automatically start while running the application.
4. The Found New Hardware wizard will start. Follow the instructions to install the USB Flash driver.
5. After the installation restart Update Service.
6. When installation is completed, please restart the computer.


How to use

1. Double-click on the Update Service icon on the desktop.
2. The first time Update Service is launched, the application accesses the internet to download content that enables the service to be run. This may take several minutes, depending on the internet connection speed.
3. Choose your preferred language and follow the instructions that appear.

For P900/P910:
If the PC Suite is installed, follow these instructions:
1) Double-click on Phone Connection Link in the system tray.
2) Un-tick the USB port.

Notes

* Install Macromedia Flash Player using Internet Explorer.

* The first time you start Update Service, about 2 MB will be downloaded to your PC.

* The software updates for phones are 10-65 MB depending on model. The update is downloaded when you run the application.

hi there,i need help with updating my m600i which i got a few days ago.

for me the flash splash screen that comes out during the update process disappears after giving me instructions to remove battery,sim card,then replace the battery and pressing the internet button etcetcetc.

when this happens,my phone does turn on after awhile,which i assume is a sign that it is updating.however i leave it plugged in for 2hrs and nothing happens,im starting to suspect if anything is happening,or does this have something to do with the splash screen disappearing?

im not sure what happened,my zonealarm stated that a program was trying to access the internet and i allowed it,following which the splash screen instantaneously disappears.

not sure how to proceed on from here,some help please!thanks
