You must register COMDLG32.OCX before.
Step to register COMDLG32.OCX in windows system:
1. Download COMDLG32.OCX. This file should be located in the WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory on your C: drive (for Windows NT and 2000: \WINNT\system32).
3. Using your mouse, click on the "Start" button and then click on "Run".
4. According to your Operating System, type the following command to register this library file:
5. Windows 95, 98, or Me: regsvr32 \windows\system\COMDLG32.OCX
Windows NT or 2000: regsvr32 \WINNT\system32\COMDLG32.OCX
Windows XP: regsvr32 \windows\system32\COMDLG32.OCX
6. You should see a message saying "DllRegisterServer ... succeeded"
If you are getting an error telling you that the file is missing, then you are not typing the command in correctly. You will need to type it in *exactly* as as shown above for your operating system.
* Please note that there is a SPACE after "regsvr32" and before the rest of the command.
Try to run program makesis again. It's will work! :p

I try to make sis file with HEAVY mode , i put the same uid as per original application, its show "sis files created" but no files has been created. When using the LIGHT mode, witout changing the UID its work.......
Could someone pls explain WHY????
elow..i have a question how i will change the rar file to sis file??pls reply..
u cant convert rar files 2 sis dude, bcz rar is compressed file and sis its symbian app, just use winrar to extract files from archive. if u find somewhere write "rename rar to sis" its mean u only rename file extension from rar to sis. its using for some restriction from servers to disable post sis files (also its use with txt, jpg etc. extensions)

:) :) YES YES YES it works!!!!
finally! thank you!!!
but there is a mistake cause you said the file must be located on the system directory (win XP)
but then you say "go to start button then run
Windows XP: regsvr32 \windows\system32\COMDLG32.OCX "
i tried it and it didnt worked the first time but then i put the file
on system32 folder and did again the run..
and it runs lol :)
after this i was able to run makeSIS 0.9
but still not version 1.0 as it said it needs one more file like the
COMDLG32.OCX.
so i did a google search found and installed that file too and now it runs...
Thanks again
