3660 has Symbian OS v6.1, i posted the vboy for phones with Symbian OS v7.0 and v8.0, the 4096 colour version is for the n-gage...dunno, try them on :doh:, believe me, it won't kill your phone

You should transfer the rom (actual game) to the E:\vampent\gbcroms folder on your memory card, then start vboy and the game will be listed there, simply select the game, click on it, and it will start :D

No!!! I warned you, these are gba roms, you can't play them with the vboy!!! If you still want i'm gonna upload your requested games tomorrow, but you will only be able to play them with a gba emulator like vbag!!! This games would run very slow on 6600 with the vbag, phones like n70 and above are the next best thing. My call is to wait a bit for the full version of the emulator to come out, there could be some fixes that would make this kind of games run faster. Cheers mate

Do not use the one with 262K colors. Instead use the 65K or even the 4096 colors.

Try to delete the .sav file of the game, that's the save game. Unfortunatly you will lose your progress in the game. I did this and it worked, hope i could help you...have no idea why this happens :grr:

hey i downloaded vBoy 65536 for my n70 with the 3 zelda games and played them straight off just fine. so i saved and quit, came back to it a second time, saved and quit just fine.
problem is, on the 3rd time i start any of the games they wont open. the list of games just stays right there. nothing happens. so i thought a problem with the roms perhaps? i downloaded mario and it worked fine for 2 goes and then stopped.

any ideas?

just delete the save file that has 0 bytes on it, they say it's a bug, same thing happen to my phone, and i downloaded a new emulator for Vboy... if you dont want to erase and erase the save file 0 bytes, hope it help, it wont kill you if you try...

Roms should be saved in :\vampent\gbroms and should either be in zip or gbc format. Can't do nothing with rar or other compressed formats as they're not supported.

no man, sorry...the vbag is the only one i found, and i warned all of you, it's just a beta release, it's not completed yet, that's why it works so slow. only on s60v3 is it playable! i heared that the guys from vampent are still working on it to move faster, maybe even with sound. i'm waiting for it for a long time now. i got the visual boy advance, that's a Pc gb, gbc and gba emulator, that's how i play them. cheers mate and be patient

Go to the Vampent\gbcrom folder and delete the gbc.sav file (the one without any number on it and is 0KB in size). You have to do this everytime you want to continue playing a saved game.

Seems as I ain't the only one with this problem with vBoy I will tell the others how to bypass it.

When you save the game then quit it and try to open it it will refuse to open (I have only played Pokemon Crystal and it has done this) In the folder where you save your games you will find your actual save file and a dummy file, the dummy file is allways 0kb in size. All you have to do is rename this file and then boot your ROM up again and it will work.

You will have to do this every time you want to run the file again though.

This is the only way I could get it to work, anyone else find out something else?

something must be wrong with your phone, i have a friend with a 3230 who plays vboy games at 100% speed. format your phone and try again, hope it works...have a good one ;)
