Start with all three Starters!!!

Start a new game and save right outside of your house after your mother gives you your pokegear. Follow the game until you go back to Elm and his assistant gives the pokeballs. Capture a pokemon and give your starter a pokeball to hold. go to the pokemon center in cherrygrove city and deposit your starter in the first box. Then change the box to the second box and turn off your gameboy when it says Saving... Don't turn off the power! you should end up outside your house where you first saved. Repeat the process for the other two starters and you should have all three waiting for you in the first box in the pc!

There is a Mod Crystal Version available here which will let you catch in the beginning of the game the three starter pokemons.

You can do it with Gold which is basically the same as crystal by hacking your own ROM and changing which pokemon pops up where and what level they are. I think xicemanx2 posted the hacks somewhere. So all credit for supplying them goes to him.
