Is there any way that i can update my n70 to the latest available firmware without connecting to the internet. I mean, if I can download all the required files first and then can update them on my phone without connecting the internet.

no you have to update ur firmware by connecting to internet only,as of now thats the way,i too hope in future it wont be like that

Well, i kind of upgraded my N80 to a N80ie by accident :p

I changed the product code to a N80ie via NSS, ran NSU and it said my mobiles firmware was to be upgraded from 4.0623 to 4.0632 (was hoping for 4.0707), i thought this might just get rid of the O2 branding but after the phone rebooted i ended up with a debranded N80ie :D (has the internet folder and im able to use truephone, but i like using fring better).

I gave myself a big pat on the back haha.

unfortunatly..i can't update my firmware software...cause I can't find my model(6670)in compatibilty on nokia homepage...or I'm blind...can u take a look for me maybe plz?

I was looking for my wifes 6111 too but thats not there either.

I think the only option would be a nokia shop, if your mobiles still under warranty it should be free, if not i have no idea how much it could cost.

thnx colinwatson1, but i still have to update my firmware to the latest one 1st....

From what I know there is no difference from the 2 n70's. Just the appearence and the mmc included in the package. ME has a 2 Gb MMC included (I think). There might be some improvements 2 the music player but if there are, the're minor.
