Gold/ Silver

1. go to pc
2. Place pokemon in any box
3. change box
4. as soon as it says DO NOT TURN OFF POWER.... TURN IT OFF
5. Recover cloned pokemon and items

For Crystal

Same as above but for step 4... Wait 1.5 seconds after the dot appears and turn vboy off, it may be good to do ao vboy (113KB) save before in case u mess up the 1.45 second limit.

It is possible to catch the elusive HO-OH in the unmodded pokemon crystal

All you have to do is to catch all the 3 legendary dogs and then aqquire the clear bell (kill team rocket in GOLDENROD) then have all three dogs in your party and goto the burnt tower :victory:

To catch tyranitar go to the last cave (where you fight ash) and at night or in the afternoon
catch a lavitar {rock, ground}
train it to level 64 and...voila tyranitar {rock ghost}:satan:
( becomes pupitar {rock}first)

Kingdra is just an evolution of horsea

catch a horsea

aqquire a dragon scale

and trade with it equipped:applaus:

4. see the real card
5. load saved slot and pick the real card

I have a question to everyone in here how do I evolve slowbro to slowking ? because I already attached Slowbro with king rock and trade with my friend and it didn't evolve. Anyone can solve that problem ?

You don't need to trade Slowbro to get Slowking. Use the Modded version of POkemon CRystal posted here in the Game Emulator section and you can catch him in the wild. Or if you want, I posted my Gamesave with a complete POkedex in the same thread and you can use that save file to trade for your game.

Best POkemon GBC in my opinion is of course crystal
Besides the fact that all sprites are animated you have access to better pokemon then gold/silver

To find entei use the following steps (crystal)

1.) get suicune release dogs (DUH!!)
2.) walk around the garden outside the town with the towers
(where you fight the ghost leader ) or your home town
with a level 39 pokemon on the top of your group and max repell equipped
3.) After you encounter him check your map and then go to the
change markers outside the town with the towers (name eludes me for now)
change markers is when the marker comes up and says route 12,13 or whatever route your on even towns
4.) when you cross the route marker you should be in the route where you find miltank check if entei is there, if not cross the marker again and try again.reason is that they change position every time you cross change marker keep doing this until you have him on your route , equip max repel encounter and away. :lol:

The only way to get a slowking is to trade a SLOWPOKE with a kings rock attached

SLOWPOKE + KINGS ROCK + TRADE = SLOWKING

I agree , for those who don't wanna use the masterball duplication best chance to catch a legendary is a genegar
movest ----> hypnosis, nightshade, ----------

easy method make a vboy save as soon as the battle starts (give gengar quick claw)
use hypnosis load if miss
night shade away ( it wont ko coz no chance of critical)

also another variation is a smeargal
moveset ----> spore, superfang ---------- quickclaw
spore , fang away
in both methods make sure you have a lot of pokeballs :satan:

Any 1 want a level 3 mewtwo and a shiny level 3 ho-oh

why someone would do this is beyond me but here it is.

This is strange, but also permanent, so only do this if you want your clock to remain set on a certain day. To do this, go to Vermillion City and talk to the Machop that is stomping on the ground. After you talk to him, open your Pack, go to Coin Case and look at how many coins you have. Your game will either freeze :mummy: or reset, so you must reset if it freezes :devil: . When you do, your game clock will be frozen in that exact time unless you use another code to change the time, which is possible.

Try downloading the modified version of the pokemon silver. You can catch all the 151 pokemons there...

HINT:
After getting the egg to mr. pokemon, Try to saving your money to your "mother" get out the house, go back and get your money, get out the house save all your money, get out the house, go back and get all your money back... Do this til your money is 999999!!!! I don't know if this is a bug but it gave me headstart to evolve all my pokemons by buying lots of rare candies!!!!

download pokemon cystal modded rom and you can catch all 251 pokemon :lol: including celebi ho-oh but not all evolutions of evee

Contrary to popular belief
misdrevious is one very powerful pokemon

not only is he a ghost :eek: (no normal/ fighting damage without forsight)

he's not a poison type therefore no disadvantage to psychics :scared2:
(but you still have the advantage)

pain split also a good move against high hp like wobuffet :satan:

We all know the ordinary type damage

water beats fire, electric beats water.......

but here are some advanced tactics that you might
or might not know

kingdra ---> surf...ice beam....dragon breath...toxic
(best for against fire coz he is 4x resistant to fire:scared2: instead of 2x like all others
also he has no weakness to grass)

use grass type moves against water for 4x damage instead of 2x when you use electric
also grass type pokemon are resistant to water moves

Some tricks with inaccurate moves

thunder ---> 50% hit rate will always hit if it is raining ( rain dance)

blizzard ---> 50% hit rate will never hit if the sun shines brightly ( sunny day)

fireblast ---> 75% hit rate has 4x greater damage is sun is shining (sunny day) all other fire moves only 2x damage

gilloutine, fissure and other 1 hit ko moves are useless ....DO NOT USE THEM :eek:

We all want people to call us
and give us the news about the rare pokemon and all the stones but how to get them to call
early and often..... :banghead2:


1.) go to new bark town
2.) talk to your mom
3.) say no to get money back
4.) change time to dst ( some one should call you now)
5.) change time back to non dst ( some one should call you now)

this works 75% of the time and by doing this you can get a sale at golden rod,
get thunder, grass, fire, water stones

for all those who do not know dst means daylight savings time :joker:

Pokemon Eggs at the day care do not hatch with time.......but with the number of steps that you take

below is the complete guide


If the egg is a Magikarp :sweat: , it takes 1,280 steps to hatch.

If the egg is a Pichu, Cleffa, Igglybuff, or Togepi, it takes 2,560 steps to :fool:
hatch.

If the egg is a Caterpie, Weedle, Pidgey, Rattata, Spearow, Zubat, Geodude,
Sentret, Hoothoot, Ledyba, or Spinarak, it takes 3,840 steps to hatch.:read:

If the egg is a Onix, Mr. Mime, Scyther, Pinsir, Misdreavus, Heracross,
Mantine, Skarmory, Tyrouge, Smoochum, Elekid, or Magby, it takes 6,400 :o steps to hatch.

If the egg is an Omanyte or Kabuto, it takes 7,680 steps to hatch.

If the egg is an Eevee or Aerodactyl, it takes 8,960 :grr: steps to hatch.

If the egg is a Chansey, Lapras, Snorlax, Dratini, or Larvitar, it takes 10,240 :eek:
steps to hatch.

If the egg is anything else, it takes 5,120 steps to hatch. :rock:

This number is invisible to you, like so many others....

Normal way to get Heal bell Chansey......

. Raise a Miltank to L53 :banghead2: so it learns Heal Bell.
2. Put it in the front of your party.
3. Go to the grass patch, and find a male Smeargle. :mummy:
4. Once in battle, use Heal Bell. Miltank will be faster, so she will attack
first.
5. Smeargle will then use the ability "Sketch". This ability allows Smeargle
to copy the last move used against it in a wild or in-game trainer battle.
Since you used Heal Bell last, it will Sketch Heal Bell.
6. Catch the Smeargle.
7. Now, we will use a technique called chain breeding to get Heal Bell from
Smeargle to Chansey. Since these two cannot breed, we'll have to use Snubbull
to pass the attack
8. First, breed this male Smeargle with a female Snubbull/Granbull. All you
need is a single male Snubbull baby with Heal Bell to make this work.
9. Now, we will breed this male Heal Bell Snubbull with a Chansey. All of the
resulting Chansey babies will have Heal Bell.

2.)download any save game zip file
3.)unzip thee save game file
4.)rename the save game file to pokemon crystal.gbc.sav
5.)place the save game in the same folder as the gbc rom

added some new pokemon (same sprites)

added brand new movesets---increased power of old movesets

edited pokemon types...

added a brand new pokemon type (not as easy as it sounds)

type BIRD---no not flying (like pigey) but BIRD

modded the legendaries played around with types

ADDED SUPER POWERFUL POKEMON -for ultimate gamers

features--- can catch all 251 pokemon
--- marts are not free ( but will make them free if requested)
--- added some character battles and sidequests
--- MADE WILD POKEMON HARDER

but check this out...blissey has a super high spe. defence and hp

but a really low defence ...so protect is a must....

as a treat...i have included the umbreon with pokerus virus...

what this does is doubles the stat increases with level increase...
p.s you do know that shiny pokemon have lower stats compared to normal pokemon

how did you do all of that? im playing pokemon in goboy, how can i make some of my pokemon which needs a cable link/trade to evolve?..

you can also evolve them through bluetooth trade using two mobile phones using vboy

steps:

1. turn on bluetooth of both phones then restart both phones afterward (switch it off then on)

2. open vboy 1.3 then select the rom and open it.(pokemon)

3. open the menu of both vboy and choose link. be sure that are both the same in their settings.

4. set the connection to pad, then make the host phone to 1p then the other will be 2p.

5. the first phone should be host then the other one will join, wait for the host to search the other phone, then the second phone should choose join.

6. both phones will automatically restart the pokemon game, both of you should bring up the menu at the same time then select link.

7. change their connection to serial then close the menu of both phones.

8. see if you can control each phone separately, if you can, then you can already trade at the center.

note: be sure that you already have a saved game using the save option of the rom itself on both mobile phones (start-option-save).

1. turn on bluetooth of both phones then restart both phones afterward (switch it off then on)

2. open vboy 1.3 then select the rom and open it.(pokemon)

3. open the menu of both vboy and choose link. be sure that are both the same in their settings.

4. set the connection to pad, then make the host phone to 1p then the other will be 2p.

5. the first phone should be host then the other one will join, wait for the host to search the other phone, then the second phone should choose join.

6. both phones will automatically restart the pokemon game, both of you should bring up the menu at the same time then select link.

7. change their connection to serial then close the menu of both phones.

8. see if you can control each phone separately, if you can, then you can already trade at the center.

note: be sure that you already have a saved game using the save option of the rom itself on both mobile phones (start-option-save).

i can add a save file outside kurts house with the gsball

i can boost exp gained ...reducing the amt reqd to level uo

and as for finding shiny pokemon..i can only post save files...with any shiny
pokemon you request...i have not yet found i way to increase encounter rate...sorry

but i can get you any pokemon at any stage...shiny...at the very start if need be...

wobbuffet can kill all of the pkmns lined up earlier... see wobbuffet's stats and buff hp up and def and spc.def... no need for atks and s.atk and speed since u want to be hit in order to attack. less speed means good. leftovers can b a good item but i think focus band makes wobby tougher than ever. wobby defeats a lvl66 lugia at lvl36... c'mon!!! i reload it and captured lugia though... wobbuffet says, " give me your best shot, i can do better"

counter = 2x physical damage
mirror coat = 2x special attacks
safeguard = status repel
destiny bond = chance to share the same fate... hahaha

best status to complement:(allies)
sandstorm(WOB with leftovers)
and curse(ghost)

i think that pkmns with are very speed have more probabilities of winning..i think electrode is a great one:it's very fast and u will allways do a 1.in some cases,your pkmn received a critical hit and had no oportunity to atack
4 example,my favourite1 is Charizard and mine has 298 of speed;i think it's cute;s very nice becausein a battle charizard vs charizard i atack first nad surely win the battle ;)
