This release is the standalone version of Counter-Strike: Source released by DigitalZone. It contains the newest Update including the newest official map release of cs_assault. We made this compilation to make installation simple and easy, especially for those people who seem to have problems installing the game & applying its updates.

Future Updates will also be released in similar installers adjusted to this version of CSS. You'll have to own this copy in order to be able to install future updates released by us.

First install the Counter-Strike: Source DZ Final (links are posted below).
Then install the latest updates (checkout updaes & patches topic).

Counter-Strike: Source Final [DiGiTALZoNE] UPDATES

The latest version of Counter-Strike Source is v16. In order to be up-to-date you have to install following updates:
- Patch 16 (v1 to v16)
- Patch 17 (v16 to v17)

This update includes ALL patches. All you need is Counter-Strike: Source | Final [DiGiTALZoNE] and this comprehensive Patch v16. Previous patches like Patch 10 Comprehensive, Patch 13 Comprehensive, Patch 14,Patch 15 and Patch 16 single are NOT required anymore. You may remove them from your hard disk.

So...NO need for other patches; just install Counter-Strike: Source | Final [DiGiTALZoNE] and this update.

Are you talking about Counterstrike 1.61 cos this is counterstrike source and I installed it on my system and there were no password protected rar files or any files that needed their extensions changin to .rar

I recommend you to use the "sendspace" mirror, coz the others no longer works!

Well I installed the game and installed the texture pack and it worked as a stand alone game, but not to play online. I then installed patch 17 and it stopped it from working altogether and still none of the given links are working for patch 16, the sendspace one keeps saying I have reached my d/l limit for the day when I not even used the thing before.

patch v16 is strongly needed for the game to work both online and stand-alone!i will upload it on rapidshare.com in some minutes!

yep you can play without both patches but you cant join servers plus you cant change TEAM characters because its still theBETA CSS if you don't install the PATCH

worked out what the problem was with filefront, it seems that it doesn't like IDM so just disabled it and is now downloading
