Hi, i have read all the posts but i still dont know what software i need. I want to buy a PSP at theese days, and play downloaded games but i have read that games dont work on 3.50 software version only on 1.50 soo can you explain what software version should i buy that i could play downloaded games, if i dont find a 1.50 ? :confused:

Yes, in fact it'd be very nice if you could find a 1.50 PSP, but if you don't buy something below 3.50. The N00bz team has released a downgrader for any PSP version below 3.50. You need to buy an unpatched Lumines UMD for that to work. Get the instructions on their website {http://noobz.eu}. Once the PSP is downgraded you can either use 1.50 or Team M33's custom firmware 3.52, which is basically 3.52 with homebrew compatibility. Or, you can call a professional downgrading company.

may i ask...
how do we know our psp version..

hey brother in the menu you will find images , music , videos, games , other than these go to system settings and system information

if you find only the version number with out any extention like : 3.50 or 2.71 or etc they are all original sony oficial firmwares.... you cant play games downloaded in to your memory stick... instead you have to buy UMD spending some thousands of rupees..... so you have to downgrade that to custom firmware by using some method like pandora battery... and to do this you neeed another PSP alerady having custom firmware...







and in the system information if you find some suffix behind the version number like eg: 3.52 m33 or 3.40 OE-A 0r 3.80 m33 or 4.01 m33 or some thing like this then you are having a custom firmware and no need to downgrade or do anything..and you can play downloaded games and have applications and have fun.......

if you need any help please dont hesitate to ask and i advise you to buy PSP slim because PSP slim is having twice RAM that of PSP fat and you can connect that to TV and more brightness in the LCD screen..all the rest fo the features are more over same except with minor modifications...



latest PSP is PSP 3000 dont buy because that is not hacked at present.... and it will take time for dark alex to da that.... it has TA-88 motherboard....
